 A Great Christmas Present
On this latest offering, the versatile saxophonist picks familiar Christmas tunes, turns them around and takes his listeners to higher ground. His brilliant arrangement of Silent Night is worth the price of the CD. James’ soulful sax teams up R&B Grammy winner Anthony Hamilton, whose gospel tones and moans will transport you to Christmas Eve service in a little country church. Other notables are Joni Mitchell’s River, The First Noel, Hark the Herald Angels and an hauntingly beautiful Auld Lang Syne. This CD is a must for every Christmas playlist and a perfect Christmas present for anyone who loves smooth jazz.

this, is christmas!
Boney james has done it again. this is the perfect christmas album. great smooth jazz as you would expect. the song "merry christmas baby" with Angie Stone was my favorite off the whole disk, what a voice. Great sax playing as you would expect from james, over all, a perfect album for the holidays!
