This was one of my all-time favorite sci-fi films. My old VHS version broke so I got it on DVD, but it was that AWFUL Director's Cut. Now the original theatrical release is here and I couldn't be happier! This is definitely one of those "must-have" movies for your collection! Great actors, great plot, effects, score, you name it! Ridley Scott outdid himself here.

The 5 Disc Collector's Edition of Ridley Scott's 1982 Sci-Fi classic has anything and everything for fans of the film. Disc 1 features "The Final Cut", the 2007 version with several fixes, re-shoots, added effects, and changed dialogue. Also included on disc 2 are 3 other versions of the original film, Theatrical(1982), Director's Cut(1999), and International (with narration, 1982). Disc 3 and 4 represent a treasure trove of extra material including an insane amount of documentaries, interviews, concept art, deleted and alternate scenes, alternate endings....etc. Disc 5 features the never before released workprint version of the film from 1981, with alternate scenes and music. Seeing this remarkable film on Blu Ray was breathtaking.

well worth the money
I watched all five disks over the the Memorial Day weekend.Everything you ever wanted to know about the movie is in this set.

This review is for a different format. A defining movie
Ignore the comments from ndestudios; my guess is that Blade Runner took away from some of his time to watch Rocky 800 or American Pie: Flogging The Dead Horse. Blade Runner however is a grown-ups movie.
This is a superb and thought-provoking film, and Ford has never played a better part since. So many many sci-fi films owe their very existence to this classic. I won't drone on about the plot, the effects etc. as it's all been said before, and far better than I am able to do, suffice to say if you want to watch THE best sci-fi film ever made then you need look no further.

The grisly and debauched film PATHOLOGY is a juiced-up medical thriller that plays like FLATLINERS with a mean streak and a broken moral compass. Writers Mark Nelvedine and Brian Taylor have created a premise allowing for CSI-like forensics along with heaps of sex and violence, truly making the most of the film's R-rating. A high-end exploitation film with good performances, PATHOLOGY is strong enough for horror fans and should go down smoothly for non-squeamish viewers with a taste for the dark side.
