(9 Customer Reviews)
Expanding on the fun concept of its FROM THE SCREEN TO YOUR STEREO EP, New Found Glory presents a full album's worth of movie-related cover tunes on this second installment. Highlights of the 12-track outing by the Floridian punk-pop act include revved-up versions of Sixpence None the Richer's sugary "Kiss Me" (from SHE'S ALL THAT) and Tears for Fears' soaring "Head Over Heels" (from DONNIE DARKO).
New Found Glory: Jordan Pundik (vocals); Steve Klein , Chad Gilbert (guitar); Ian Grushka (bass guitar); Cyrus Bolooki (drums).
Additional personnel: Chris Carrabba, Sherri Gilbert, Lisa Loeb, Patrick Stump, Max Bemis, Adam Lazzara, Will Pugh, Stacy DuPree (vocals); Michael Bethancourt (keyboards).
Alternative Press (p.158) - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "[S]tamped with NFG's trademarks like chugging guitars, galloping tempos and Jordan Pundik's nasally vocals.....A roster of superstar cameos helps make PART II way better than it has any right to be." Kerrang (Magazine) (p.49) - "[T]his is a joyous snapshot of a band having an absolutely brilliant time in the studio." New Found Glory From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2 Songs From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2 Music Review Average Rating: (4.9 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Pt.2 just in time. This was exactly what I think New Found Glory needed.
coming streight after last years release of "Coming Home" NFG parted ways with former lable Geffen Records to come home to Drive-thru.
This is exactly what the needed as well, somthing for the their longtime fans!
This record is the follow up to the original release of "From The Screen To Your Strereo" and I think it's five times better then the last one.
This is the perfect album for any New FOund Glory, Drive-thru, movie soundtrack or just streight up pop-punk music fan.

Best thing from NFG yet! Considering that this is New Found Glory's second time at making an album full of covers, it's amazing, and they even sneak an nice instrumental diddy in from the movie Amelie. I also think it's great that they let the fans in on having some input as to which movies to pick which songs from. Altogether, you can listen to this album fully and listen to the songs you love redone in a punk pop clean New Found Gloryesque way. This album is definitely worth picking up. GO GET IT! Can't Live Without! There's no doubt that NFG put their heart and soul into creating this album. This is (by far) one of their best collaborated pieces, if not their best. I absolutely adored the first, "From The Screen..." in 2000 and I know that I will love this one more! Submitted by bckrajeski (Vermillion, SD) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
guest vocals make this cd It's been over 7 years since the first "From The Screen To Your Stereo" cd was released and fans were wondering if there would ever be a follow up. Well New Found Glory followed up in a big way. This cd is "From The Screen To Your Stereo" times 10. Not only has the band obviously matured vocally and musically since the release of the first cd, but the song selections just fit perfectly, especially with the guest vocalists. This cd is amazing and I definitely recommend it to any NFG fan or movie buff. Submitted by ashley (St. Louis, MO, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
