5 stars A Real Tear Jerker but Super Movie
Susan Hayward was always such a wonderful actress. She does a great job in this emotional movie. I had tears in my eyes along with her acting.

5 stars A truly deserved Oscar for Miss. Hayward!!
Susan Hayward gave one of her finest, most dramatic roles in this adaptation of the true life story of singer Lillian Roth. The tragic reasons that led her to addicted to alcohol, and her dramatic struggle to "dry" herself up, and then finally the courage to admit her shame and guilty past. Memorable and haunting lesson of life in the glamour world, and the ever-ending search of happiness. Should never be missed!!

I've recently become interested in "old movies", and this is one of the best. I really enjoyed the acting and the story line. It was great!
