Somebody Help Me Movie Review Average Rating: (3.5 out of 5 stars) Dont waste your time After seeing this movie I felt compelled for the first time to write a review on what is one of the lamest "horror" movies I've seen since Jeepers Creepers. I cant believe Omarion and Marques were that hard up for a movie role that they would play two of the biggest biotch characters ever. This movie had me cursing so loud at the stupidity of the writing and direction of this film thst I'm surprised my neighbors didnt call the cops. I lost it when at the movies climax Maqueus Houstons character sat hiding like a biotch with his hand over his mouth while his girlfriend was 10 ft away with a freakin scalpal cutting into her forehead. Its not like this movies villian was an unstoppable monster that cant be killed, he was a freakin 50 year old unarmed plastic surgeon for fu*$s sake. Reach down, find a pair and save your girl from getting her face cut off!! Amazingly this idiot-fest ends leaving you with the biggest scare of the movie. Chris Stokes may try his hand at a sequal to this turd of a movie, but I have a suggestion dont. Submitted by thewalldog (Akron, OH) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.

Somebody Help Me video
$14.39 The early 2000s have seen a string of big-budget remakes of classic horror films. In addition to THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and THE HILLS HAVE EYES, John Carpenter's benchmark slasher flick HALLOWEEN has been given a new-millennial overhaul. At the helm of the project sits rocker Rob Zombie, whose previous films, HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, brought a fan's touch and an auteur's vision to the director's chair. While Zombie's HALLOWEEN is faithful to Carpenter's vision, there are some obvious changes, the most pronounced of these being the substantial focus on Michael Myers's childhood. The film posits Michael (played by a creepily vacant Daeg Faerch) as a troubled child made all the worse by a horrible home life--wonderfully illustrated via William Forsythe's performance as Deborah Myers's boyfriend--and constant abuse at school. Zombie paints Michael's pain with palpable grit and sleaze, but he isn't ...

Somebody Help Me film
$14.39 The slasher film all but died with the release of SCREAM (1996). From that point on, the genre became populated with slick studio productions starring the latest round of teen television stars, while gore and terror all but disappeared. HATCHET director Adam green clearly longs for the early days of the VCR, when films like MADMAN (1982), THE BURNING (1981), and THE PROWLER (1981) gave us psycho killers with grudges, deformities, and axes to grind—usually very graphically against the heads of promiscuous teens. HATCHET's killer is Victor Crowley, a grossly misshapen New Orleans bayou boogeyman who suffered an accidental hatchet to the face when his father tried to rescue him from a fire. When brokenhearted college boy Ben (Joel Moore) ditches his friends during a pre-Katrina Mardi Gras in favor of a cheesy Haunted Swamp tour, he finds himself on a boat full of misfits with an inexperienced tour guide (Perry Shen) just in from Detroit. Soon, the boat is sinking, and the passengers who ...

Somebody Help Me DVD
$10.25 ILLEGAL TENDER opens in the Bronx in 1985, with slick drug dealer Wilson DeLeon (Manny Perez) looking for one more big score before settling down with his pregnant wife, Millie (Jessica Pimentel). But things go awry, and the gang led by Javier Cordero (Gary Perez) goes after Millie as well. Twenty-two years later, Millie (now played by Wanda De Jesus) is living in a wealthy suburban neighborhood with her older son, 4.0 college student Wilson Jr. (Rick Gonzalez), and younger son, the endearingly precocious Randy (Antonio Ortiz). When she spots a member of Javier's gang, she's out on the run again--but Wilson refuses to go, instead staying home with his girlfriend, Ana (Dania Ramirez), not willing to believe anyone is in any real danger. Although he doesn't want to get involved, Wilson is soon caught up in a gunfight, finding himself in the middle of a two-decade-old score that seemingly can be settled only with bloodshed. Written and directed by Franc. Reyes (EMPIRE) and ...

Somebody Help Me movie DVD
$10.25 A white-collar revenge fantasy in the vein of DEATH WISH (and based on a novel by the same author, Brian Garfield), DEATH SENTENCE ponders the nature and limits of retribution, asking if murder can ever be justified. Director James Wan (SAW) delivers a high-end exploitation film, complete with a washed-out, grainy appearance and some startling violence, but with complex, thrilling action sequences.
Kevin Bacon is Nick Hume, a successful businessman with two children and a lovely wife (Kelly Preston). While driving home from his older, college-bound son's hockey game, Nick must pull into a gas station in a tough part of town. When ...
