Outside of the home, YoungblitZ gained inspiration from listening to international music mogul Jay-Z. He began writing lyrics at the age of 9 and has been motivated ever since. YoungblitZ created a rap group called A.K.A. 45 with two other friends. Realizing that consistency at that age was rare, YoungblitZ saw that he was the only one taking it seriously and left the group at age 11 to pursue his music dream solo. YoungblitZ's first recording in Gary was an unofficial remix of Fat Joe's 'Lean Back' in 2004. That same year, he moved to Georgia. The music reputation the city of Atlanta had attained only added fuel to fulfill his musical dream. In 2006, YoungblitZ began making beats and producing his own music. By the end of that year he formed another group called M.O.C. with fellow rappers Tha Prince and Jsalmz in which he produced much of the material. M.O.C's first single, 'Pray for You' gained airplay on Atlanta's own The F.I.E.L.D. Radio Show within a year of the song's creation and release. In 2007, the group disbanded and YoungblitZ went solo again, remaining focused on his purpose to produce quality music.
