On 2007's THE FLAME IN ALL OF US, the Canadian Christian rock act Thousand Foot Krutch offers up a dynamic and accessible collection of faith-based tunes. While "What Do We Know" carries a light, poppy vibe, songs such as the driving title track and the stomping "Falls Apart" showcase the Toronto-based band's metallic edge. Thousand Foot Krutch Flame In All Of Us Songs Flame In All Of Us Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) Good I liked it. At first listen it was okay, but after a few times through, it grew on me.I like "Wish You Well" Submitted by Michael (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
I've heard this is Christian rock pouring out of their souls I strongly oppose Phenomenon, but Art of Breaking was onto somethin if not nothin was happening to this band in way of direction. Recommend to start with Art of Breaking, then get to this one. Nothing short of groundbreaking, but interesting to hear what comes out especially in the mainstream these days. Know the collab that they've done with counterpart, Three Days Grace? You'll hear shades like it here if that's your interest at heart and I know it's mine. Could this come at a time where rap-metal is at rest? I know the genre has died back in 2001 and this band is evidenced like many others to diss what's known to be as nu-metal. At best, you could term them neo-grunge. What else could there be should loom ahead and dare not look back away from 2007 with this LP or any others. This could cause some controversy of what I've said, but hey I read online. Oh piss off! Submitted by Hmmm (Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Okay cd First 4 songs that they released before the cd was out were amazing! Every other song .. is okay .. but its not TFK's older songs where it just never ends from getting good from the beginning to the end. Really disappointed me. Amazing A wonderful display of TFK's talent, it mixes modern rock with haunting melodies and their wonderful message that a flame is truly in each and every one of us. A must by for fans and newcomers alike. Submitted by kao8591 (Stroudsburg, PA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Flame In All Of Us
$13.35 Avenged Sevenfold: Rev, M. Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance, Johnny Christ. After solidly establishing themselves on the contemporary heavy music scene, Avenged Sevenfold wasted little time with following up their 2005 break-through effort, CITY OF EVIL. The band took a bold step on their fourth and self-titled full-length, opting to produce it themselves--a risky task indeed for such a young band. Right out of the gate, Singer M. Shadows leads A7X even further into melodic territory--but not without a little help. Lending her vocal support to the slow-grooving "Gunslinger" and the heavy country rocker "Dear God" and taking a solo turn ...

Flame In All Of Us
$7.79 Future Leaders of the World: Phil Tayler (vocals); Jake Stutevoss (guitar); Bill Hershey (bass instrument); Carl Messina (drums). Personnel: Ben Kaplan (programming). Audio Mixers: Michael Barbiero; Andy Wallace. Recording information: Plumper Mountain Sound, Gibsons, British Columbia, Cana; The Armoury Studios, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canad. Photographer: Travis Shin. Unknown Contributor Roles: Joel "The Christmas Mouse" Livesay; Lee Robertson. Post-grunge combo Future Leaders of the World featured vocalist Phil Tayler, bassist Bill Hershey, drummer Carl Messina and guitarist Jake Stutevoss. Originally from Buffalo, Tayler migrated to the West Coast in the late 1990s, where he struggled to find work while honing his skills as a performer and songwriter. He recruited Hershey and Messina in Buffalo, and the trio recorded a demo in Los Angeles, where they also tapped guitarist Stutevoss. The demo recording sparked the interest of Epic Records, who signed the Future Leaders in 2003. Their debut LVL IV appeared in October 2004; it looked to the sounds of alternative's heyday -- Nirvana; Rage Against the Machine -- as a guide. The band hit the road in 2005, touring with acts like Chevelle and Crossfade. ~ Johnny Loftus Spearheaded by frontman and creative catalyst Phil Tayler, Future Leaders of the World has its roots in a time of Tayler going homeless in San Francisco after moving to the Bay Area from Buffalo, NY. After getting booted out onto the streets, the New Yorker got involved with non-profit, grassroots organizations, going door-to-door getting petitions signed and writing songs on the side. These experiences spawned LVL IV, a 10-pack of tunes that employs a clever use of dynamics, powered by agitated guitars and Tayler's voice, a howl with a Kurt Cobain-ish nuance to it. Operating with a sound that's more a nod to Nirvana than outright mimicry, Future Leaders uses social activism and anger at government corruption as inspiration. Tayler goes from the barbed rant "Your Gov't Loves You," with mention of corporate waste and the ...
