 An album for the broken
After dominantly writing worship anthems for the past three albums, the David Crowder Band takes a step back to focus on the lives of the meek and of the broken sinners with their latest album. With songs like "The Glory of It All," "Everything Glorious," and "Remedy," David Crowder pens from the perspective of those in need of Christ's perfect redemption, healing, and love, and the band, for the first time, seeks to be one who wishes to identify with all Christians, as all Christians are sinners, according to the Apostle Paul in the New Testament. And, on top of all that, quick-paced songs like "Can You Feel It?" showcase the band's versatility with employing the classic Propellerhead electronica sounds and drumloops to fit in with an enormous large sound. Anyone who has listened to their albums and have seen these guys in concert can definitely say that anything they hear on an album and then see in concert are in for one wild show, as the band recreates the songs as heard on the album for the most part. Of course, above all, the band continues to add to its own repertoire of worship songs with Remedy, giving Christians, of all types of hearts and circumstances, stanzas and melodies to sing to the Lord.
