No Lessons is an eclectic, acoustic-rock quintet that formed in Lawrence, Kansas. With a sound that has been compared to bands such as Barenaked Ladies and Rusted Root, No Lessons thrives in uniqueness by using a harmonica as its lead instrument, as well as a world-percussion kit that compliments soulful and harmony-driven vocals. In the past year, No Lessons has shared the stage with bands such as Blues Traveler, Victor Wooten (of Bela Fleck and The Flecktones), The Samples, G-Love and Special Sauce, and Cary Pierce (of Jackopierce). After releasing its debut EP under Reaction Records in October 2002, No Lessons has quickly gained notoriety in the Midwest by drawing crowds of more than 800 people in cities such as Lawrence, St. Louis, and Chicago. From piano ballads to rhythmic rock tunes, No Lessons captivates audiences everywhere with a live performance that is as energetic and entertaining as any band around. Having created a sound that is truly its own, the band has musically captured the laid-back attitude of America's Midwest by introducing a new brand of music, appropriately titled by fans as " Wheat Rock." Purchase No Lessons CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Michael Jackson Thriller CD (1982) Bonus Tracks; Remastered; Special Edition
No Lessons album
$5.99 The finest example of perfect disco pop, and a record that should be prescribed to musical snobs and manic depressives. The album is a true ambassador of what pop music can be. Jackson whoops and dances through a suite of unforgettable melodies that should be danced to with a smile on your face. Each track offers at least one musical hook, whether it is the beauty of 'Human Nature' (who ...
| | Slayer World Painted Blood CD (2009)
No Lessons CD music
$10.39 Of the "big four" original thrash bands (the other three being Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth), Slayer was the least compromising and most consistent. As such, 2009's WORLD PAINTED BLOOD recalled more than the title of Slayer's 1986 masterpiece REIGN IN BLOOD; it shared the earlier album's ferocious aggression and trademark speed metal-meets-hardcore sound. Throughout, the sound is lean and mean, with ...

It's always a sign that a group is hot if they release a holiday album mere months after their debut. That's the case with *NSYNC. Their debut was released in America in late March, and in early December, Home for Christmas hit the shelves. Much of the album is devoted to newer material, with only a handful of songs qualifying as standards: "The Christmas Song," "The First Noel," and "O Holy Night." All of it is given the familiar *NSYNC sheen, alternating between slickly ...
| | Elvis Presley ELV1S: 30 # 1 Hits CD (2002) Remastered
No Lessons songs
$10.39 Includes liner notes Peter Guralnick and Ernst Mikael Jorgensen.
Commemorating the 25th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death, 30 #1 HITS presents a career-spanning serving of the King's chart-toppers.
Dating back to "Heartbreak Hotel" (which was inspired by a suicide note printed in the Miami Herald), most of these cuts have become indelibly etched into the fabric of pop culture and each has a unique story behind it. "Love Me Tender" has its origins in the Civil War ballad "Aura Lee," "It's Now Or Never" found Elvis Americanizing the Neapolitan ballad "O Sole Mio," and "Wooden Heart" likewise was converted from a German children's song.
This Memphis native's choice of artists to cover was equally intriguing and includes Hollywood legend Al Jolson ("Are You Lonesome Tonight?"), New Orleans soul shouter Smiley Lewis ("One Night"), blues great Big Mama Thornton ("Hound Dog"), and country titan Hank Snow ("[Now And Then There's] A Fool Such As I"). Further testimony of Presley's long-lasting appeal is the inclusion of the JXL Radio Edit Remix of "A Little Less Conversation," a UK #1 that not only enabled ...

| | Creedence Clearwater Revival Chronicle, Vol. 1 CD (1976)
No Lessons CD music
$10.45 Digitally remastered by Gary Hobish (1994, Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, California).
Digitally remastered by George Horn (Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, California).
Digitally remastered by George Horn (1995, Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, California).
Guided, perhaps, by musical snobbery or roots-rock phobia, some people inexplicably don't like Creedence Clearwater Revival. As the kings of earnest country-inflected rock in an age when radical stances were de rigueur, CCR sported straight-ahead tunes, and may have seemed a bit unhip. But their music stands the test of time with a vengeance. For the doubtful listener, this outstanding, 20-track hits collection has evidence of their greatness in staggering abundance.
Though they produced several excellent albums, Creedence was predominantly a singles band, and CHRONICLE compiles many of their biggest hits. From the slowly building saunter of "Suzie Q" and the spooky, R&B-soaked "I Put a Spell on You" to the fierce "Fortunate Son" and the swampy blues of "Run Through the Jungle," CHRONICLE features the ensemble's signature tunes. Beautifully melancholy songs "Who'll Stop the Rain" ...

No Lessons music CDs
$16.39 Amy Cook recently relocated to Texas from Los Angeles, where she was one of the early singer-songwriters on the Hotel Cafe scene. Amy's 2005 release on Marfa Records, The Bunkhouse Recordings, began a new chapter for Amy. After moving from California, she wrote and recorded a raw, stripped down acoustic record, one that would define and refine her style, and that critics called buoyant and delightful. Up next - two December 2006 releases: Amy's next full-length record, The Sky Observer's Guide, recorded by esteemed producer, Jamie Myerson, and a reissue of The Bunkhouse Recordings with 2 new live tracks. In February of 2007 a highly-anticipated collaboration between Myerson and Cook, an EP for the project Fine Day for Flying will be released. The upcoming Sky Observer's Guide showcases Amy's brilliant band, with Nina Singh (David Garza, Future Clouds and Radar) on drums, Brad Rice (Son Volt, Tift Merritt) on guitar, and Bobby Daniel ...
