Swing Strings music CDs
$10.15 SAMADHI are a hot new electro Indie outfit from Nakhodka ( near the Japanese Sea that falls into the Pacific Ocean ) in Russia. They licensed the uplifting and dreamy guitar/electronica track " In heaven" to our " Fast Forward" compilation in 2003 to critical acclaim. Now they release their long awaited official debut E.P called "Tuesday Morning Love". This incredible and different electro melancholy Indie E.P features hot new tracks like:Tuesday Morning Love., Who are you, Not the Angel, Explanations, Summer in Gold and Unreal. Samadhi are sort of a melancholy flock of Seagulls on holiday with an electro Smashing pumpkins. THE EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH SAMADHI We met with the cool Russian lads and had a few words and vodkas............. 1. What made you decide to form a band , tell us a bit about the SAMADHI history and about life where you come from ? (Vova) So, the band gave me the opportunity to say some words about us. We are from Russia and, at the moment we live in Moscow. Actually, we came from the other end of the country and if you take a look on the map you can find that it's pretty far from the capital. The only reason of leaving for Moscow is our enormous wish to progress because we are the band that was formed to do something important on the music scene. It's not the only wish to be famous anyway, but if the Beatles or any other great band wasn't famous we would never heard the magic. 2. Who or what are your influences? I wouldn't say about influence as it is, but anyway if you like some artist you try to understand how does him make music, including the technical side of the process of making music(recording, mixing etc.). 3. What modern artists do you rate? Regarding the real big artists we can say about Radiohead, Bjork, (they are the quality of modern music), Portishead, Nirvana (must be the best band of nineties), Smashing Pumpkins, The Verve (they don't play at the moment, but it doesn't matter), Foo Fighters, Coldplay. 4. If you could choose to record a song with any other artist/band alive or dead who would it be and why? John Lennon without a doubt, but it's impossible. It would be very interesting to record a song with female singer like Dido for example, she has an unusual and beautiful vocal. 5. What inspires you to write your music ? Love for music first of all. It is very important and interesting thing to be involved in the process of making music and you can make the original material that has been never heard before, and every song for you it's like a birth of the child, when you care and worry and love. You just escape from the ordinary world and try to hide into your own one. And you can live there... 6. Name your all time fave track by another artist ? Often I sing ...

$15.19 Robert Fleischman was born in Los Angeles, raised in Torrance California, and has enjoyed tremendous success as a vocalist, songwriter and performer during his career. Robert exploded onto the booming California music scene in the late 1970’s when he joined a San Francisco band, looking to make the transformation from rock-fusion to a more radio friendly, commercial rock sound. This band, Journey, would go on to become one of the most successful rock bands in the history of music. Robert, the original lead vocalist, wrote and performed with Journey for just under a year. Due to a conflict of interest with management, vocalist Steve Perry was hired; continuing the sound that Fleischman was instrumental in helping the band establish. With the triple platinum success of Journey’s Infinity album on which Robert’s songs are prominently featured, the name Robert Fleischman had quickly become synonymous with hit songwriting. His most noteworthy contributions to the band were, "Wheel in the ...
