$8.39 The viola soloist JEANNE MALLOW has been hailed by the New York Times as, "the third generation of the remarkable string playing Fuchs family" and "a worthy successor to this tradition, playing with dusky aristocratic tone, exacting intonation, and a kind of conversational musicality that seems second nature." She has performed to consistent critical acclaim in major concert halls.JEANNE MALLOW descends from a long line of distinguished musicians; Her grandmother was violist Lillian Fuchs, her great uncle was violinist Joseph Fuchs, and her mother is cellist Barbara Stein Mallow. The Strad stated that "she played with commandingly authoritative and natural musicality, and the virtuosic flair, vibrant rhythmic energy and keen, golden tone of a born performer."Her former teachers include Josef Gingold and Paul Kantor. She was previously a teaching fellow at The Perlman Music Program, and now serves on the faculty of the Mannes College of Music, Preparatory Divison. For more information please go to www.jeannemallow.com.

Bax: Symphony No. 6; Irish Landscape; Etc.
$8.79 "Spiritually Healing and Meditative.""Profoundly Moving.""The lyricism of Thomas Newman (Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty), meets the dissonance of Thelonious Monk.""Packs the Emotional Wallop of Gorecki and Part into the sparseness of Eno" - Tsungi Wright, Genspace."The piano becomes an orchestra unto itself; Woodwinds, strings, percussion, reeds, brass, they all seem to be in there somehow. He even conjures an entire Gamelon orchestra in one filtered-piano piece" - Joseph Whelan, Artflight. "This is great music to create to! I know many sculptors, photographers, painters and printmakers who use this music as a soothing - yet - inspiring background. It manages to be peaceful and passionate, dissonant and consonant, all at the same time. It inspires, me while also holding a space to inhabit my own muse." - Jennifer Baglund, printmaker / photographer."I use it while doing bodywork and massage, and teaching Yoga. My clients love it." - Rob Lowen, Bodyworker.

Bax: Symphony No. 6; Irish Landscape; Etc.
$16.39 Frederick Isaac is a Michigan-based pianist and composer (ASCAP). He has been a working musician for nearly two decades, starting out as a professional drummer while still in his teens. While pursuing his academic musical training, Frederick began to develop his own voice, taking in influences from both the classical styles and jazz idioms. The eventual result was the development of a unique and expressive tone palette which offers structure, imagination, and a strong melodic content. Frederick's experience ranges from being a keyboardist for rock legendBen E. King to accompanying for the famed Joffrey Ballet of New York. He also "gigged"as a jazz and salsa pianist, further demonstrating a well-rounded eclecticism. In more recent years, Frederick has been involved in accompanying/directing for professional music theater and writing/directing music for small chamber ensembles and church ministries, as well as being a college professor.
