A Great Compilation This album, excellent like the band, is an awesome compilation of their pre-2002 successes. If you've just heard about CoF and love their music, this album is a good start. Pure Symphonic Black Metal Talent! Cradle of Filth never ceases to amaze me in their ability to put alot of different sounds, guitars, bass, drums, vocals, and the whole orchestry together to make one hell of a sound. If you love or even just like Cradle of Filth, you want this CD. Becase on disk one, it has all the most popular Cradle of Filth favorites from Dusk to Midian. The best of................ This is definitely a "best of" or as Dani Filth puts it "A mess of" the band's favorite tracks from all their albums up to this point. The album even comes with stories written by Dani giving you insight and some interesting information and facts about the band. Disc 2 is full of re-mixes and some rarities with unreleased material. This is a great album for anyone wanting to get into this band and a way to sample material from all their albums. Each album has it's own creepy, yet haunting feel and this compilation album is a great sample of each. Only Vempire and Principle of Evil Made Flesh are not represented here for they do not reflect the band's current writing style. So this is an amazing compilation of modern Cradle.
