A rags to riches tale about an aspiring soul group loosely based on the Supremes. Three beautiful, young, female vocalists try to make it to the top of the charts. But they encounter heartbreak along the way... and only one will be able to achieve her dream.
Irene Cara (of FLASHDANCE soundtrack fame) and Lonette McKee star in this dramatic story of a musical trio's rise to stardom. Three sisters, who are raised in an impoverished neighborhood, have dreams of become pop singers. | One of the best!
this movie came out the year I was born but i can't remember the first time I watched it. The only thing I do know is it is one of the best movies I have ever seen!

| I loved the movie all the way through
I feel that all of the people in the movie were very talented and worked real hard on the whole movie and it gave others the chance to be in the spot light and shine.

I loved the Sparkle. It held my attention and that's difficult. I loved getting it so quickly from CD Universe even better.

| Sparkle Sparkled!
I saw this movie at its debut in 1977 and the magic it created for me then, resurrects the same feelings today. This movie was dramatic, exciting and entertaining all at once. It was a compelling drama of the effect choices have in our lives. I recommend this movie to all.
