Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English; Amaray Case Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are an unbeatable combination as two Washington DC lawyers who get their kicks, and their girls, by crashing weddings. Displaying talent, wit, intelligence, and ample charm, the pair seldom fails at their mutual mission of seduction. But eventually they get bored with the routine. Everything explodes when they crash an upper-crust wedding given by US Senator William Cleary (Christopher Walken). Jeremy (Vaughn) makes the ostensible mistake of seducing Cleary's sexually ravenous daughter Gloria (Isla Fisher) and John (Wilson) falls head over heels for the beautiful, slightly sarcastic older sister, Claire (Rachel McAdams). But Claire is nearly engaged to a slimy, macho, ivy-league snob played with beady-eyed gusto by ALIAS's Bradley Cooper. The boys get lured away on a weekend trip to the Cleary's estate, which is when the film begins to resemble an early 1930s pre-code comedy with its innuendo-filled banter, eccentric grandmothers, suspicious rivals, and copious bed-hopping.
Vaughn's motor-mouth aggression plays off Wilson's irresistible sensitivity (and vice versa) to such perfection that they leave other contemporary romantic comedy teams in the dust. They manage to get plenty of laughs and warmth from their believably close male friendship without resorting to any clichéd homoerotic references. Their respective love interests are also outstanding, particularly McAdams who displays extraordinary wit and presence in addition to her stunning beauty. Walken is surprisingly low-key as the senator, tuning his usual craziness down to a few tensile stares. Seventies mini-series staple Jane Seymour is memorable as the senator's sex-starved, boozed-up wife, who makes a play for John. BUST This movie got a lot of good endorsements from friends, but when it came down to it there was not that much uncorkedness about it... Pretty lame!!! Submitted by brian4m82 (POrtland OR) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.
Funniest movie of the year! I saw "Wedding Crashers" three times in the theater when it was out, and have watched it three more times in three days since having the DVD. Unbelievably funny! Vince Vaughn should've been up for an Oscar, he's that good. As for the DVD itself, it has a few nice bells & whistles. The "uncorked" version is OK (it stretches the film out a few minutes more) but I prefer the theatrical version ... it's tighter and flows better. Wedding Crashers film
$11.05 "Oh Boy" was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group.
Cam'ron has been around the block a few times, having worked with Puff Daddy, Notorious B.I.G., and Ol' Dirty Bastard in his time. He's obviously learned a few things from these rap masters, as well as from bitter personal experience, as evidenced by the hygiene lesson of "On Fire Tonight," which is all about condoms, and the wearing of them, in explicit situations. The Harlem rapper's third CD is full of gritty lessons in street life as well as instructions in sexual etiquette, and cuts such as "Welcome to New York City" function both as bravado and warning shots to the unwary.
The production is a mix of '70s and '80s samples and brutally simple, down-and-dirty beats, giving the whole enterprise a grainy feel that's a world away from the big-pimpin' efforts of many of Cam'rons peers. Despite his classy pedigree, the rapper is obviously devoted to keeping it real, as shown by the list of his needs and wants in "I Just Wanna." And you won't find a better document of a thug's night out in New York City than is contained within the horn-sample-heavy "Boy Boy."

| | Jim Jones Harlem: Diary Of A Summer CD (2005) DualDisc
Wedding Crashers review
$14.79 This is a DualDisc, which contains a CD on one side of the disc and a DVD on the other.
While Jim Jones's 2004 debut, ON THE WAY TO CHURCH, built a darkly surreal world befitting a man whose name and religious references recall a maniacal 1970s mass murderer, the Dipset member's second solo record, HARLEM: DIARY OF A SUMMER, is a bit disarming in its hooky brightness. In fact, the title-track ode to Jones's home neighborhood, with its breezy jazz hook and friendly spirit, is a positive beacon of light.
Jones's voice, dripping as it always is with a feeling of impending doom, pairs in a wonderfully grotesque way with the buoyant beats behind him, whether he's boasting over a heavy bass ("Baby Girl"), eulogizing atop a classic old-school beat ("Tupac Joint"), or rapping about a mix of desire and betrayal in a unique sample of the Isley Brothers' ...
