With the release of SENIOR PROJECT, Neil Arot's voice and message finally take flight. Music has been an integral part of Arot's life, but took a back seat while the joys and time constraints of 'family' entered his world.In high school, Neil performed publicly, playing bass in a number of bands. During college, Arot found the first opportunity to perform original songs at local coffee houses. His music was well received. A meeting with Ken Katz and Jack Braggan led to Arot joining The Katz n Braggan Kidds,a band blending Southern Rock, Country/Western, and Bluegrass sounds. They added Rusty Lynch on pedal steel, and a major label courted the band. Members decided to disband as 'daily life' called, but Arot continued to write music and perform when time permitted.
