I live with two teens and a toddler and I wish that I had this CD when my older children were young, but! better late than never, I suppose.

What I love about The Journey on this CD is that it helps bring the fun back into parenting. The Journey starts as you enter a river of healing water. You are encouraged to surrender into the flow of the life you are sharing with your children. Then you begin climbing up an amethyst mountain and with each step upward you let go of fear and bring in love. Once you get up top of the mountain you meet the 'spiritual council' of your family and you can discuss any difficulties you may be having or you can ask for advice and guidance in raising your children. For me, it's brought more peace and joy into my life as a mother.

In the 'journey', we use the location of Ground Zero, the former location of the World Trade Towers, because it is a location to which anybody in the world can feel connected. It is not my intention to cause any additional pain and suffering. Spirit explained to me that this is a location where both love and fear exist. I am choosing to hold the vibration of love rather than fear. I honor the lives of those courageous souls who gave humanity the gift of their lives - we can't waste it. I believe it is our mission to heal the fear (which is terrorism) in our world so we can move more deliberately into a world of love and light. When we do that, we will live with more peace, joy, and harmony but!it all begins from within first. There's an additional track to this CD that re-enforces the journey, and uses subliminal hypnosis to help you bring change into your life. Most people aren't aware that they spend much of their day in a natural state of hypnosis. For instance, whenever you are deeply relaxed or highly focused, (like when you are driving your car, searching the internet, reading a good book, or even when you're engrossed in a T.V. show) your subconscious mind is open to suggestions. The subliminal track of this CD was designed to take advantage of this natural state and to assist you with your transformation while going about your day-to-day activities. I know there's a lot of fear and negative beliefs around the idea of 'subliminal' hypnosis. Nobody wants to be brainwashed, taken advantage of, overpowered, or controlled by another. Unfortunately marketing companies and sales departments are geniuses at using subliminal messages to influence people to their advantage. This isn't my goal. My intention is to empower you, to put you in control of your life, and to wash your brain, actually your subconscious mind, of negative or limiting beliefs that no longer serve you. In spite of the negative view, I wanted to create a subliminal hypnosis track that could be used as background music throughout the day. Bruce Kurnow, currently residing in the San Francisco Bay area, is a multi-instrumentalist who plays keyboards, stringed harp, harmonica and the Gu Zheng (Chinese harp). He received the Minnesota Music Award in 1984, 1987 and 1988 for harmonica and in 1989 for harmonica, harp and keyboards. He is an active recording artist, musician, composer and producer and has compiled an impressive list of credits. Bruce toured the United States and Canada and recorded three albums with the country-rock group Mason Proffit from 1971-1973. (Mason Proffit reunited in 2003 and is touring and recording again.
