Taking Chances album for sale Product Description
Taking Chances album for sale by Celine Dion was released Nov 13, 2007 on the Sony Music label. That enormous mop of Stevie Nicks-style rock-chick hair on the front cover of TAKING CHANCES is the first clue that this is a different sort of album for Celine Dion. The formerly carefully coiffed French Canadian singer's first mainstream pop effort since 2002's A NEW DAY HAS COME, TAKING CHANCES is Dion's rock album. Guest producers and songwriters include former Evanescence co-leader Ben Moody, Canadian hard rocker Aldo Nova, Britpop master Kimberley Rew (of Soft Boys and Katrina and the Waves fame), and Linda Perry, who wrote and produced hits for Pink and Christina Aguilera, among others. Taking Chances CD music contains a single disc with 16 songs. ...See Full Description

Josh Groban Noel CD (2007)
Taking Chances CD music Only his fourth studio album, NOEL finds Josh Groban already tackling that canonical mainstay of the adult contemporary singer, the Christmas album. As always, NOEL is a masterfully performed set, balanced neatly between pop standards and the more operatic material that showcases Groban's roots. Interestingly, he sounds best on the most familiar holiday standards, like "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and Mel Torme's "The Christmas Song," both of which he invests with casual, jazzy phrasing, providing a welcome disinclination for the usual Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby homages that many other young singers in the style fall into. Even this early into his career, Groban clearly has a deeply held sense of who he is as a singer and interpreter, and this lovely collection is proof that he's one of the most exciting adult contemporary stars to appear in ages.
Bringing Josh Groban's majestic yet intimate voice to Christmas music is truly a gift this holiday season. The young Adult Contemporary star's fourth studio album brings together the traditional such as 'Silent Night' with the contemporary such as 'I'll Be Home For Christmas' and the new, 'Thankful'. Featuring duets with Country's Faith Hill and R&B's Brian McKnight, and inspirational music's master choir, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and produced by the illustrious David Foster the album's wide appeal promises that a timeless Christmas music classic will be beneath the tree this year.

Garth Brooks Ultimate Hits CDs (2007) Top Seller
Taking Chances buy CD music For a period in the early 1990s, Garth Brooks was not only the biggest star in country music, he was one of the biggest stars in music, period. An unassuming Oklahoman who fused the blue-collar ethic of new traditionalist country with an unapologetic pop side that drew on his love of 1970s rockers like Kiss and Billy Joel, Garth Brooks fundamentally changed the sound of mainstream country music in much the same way that Hank Williams had in the 1940s and Patsy Cline had in the 1950s. THE ULTIMATE HITS, a three-disc collection that is the first comprehensive career overview for Brooks, contains all of his most beloved songs in remastered sound, plus four brand-new songs and a bonus DVD containing all of Brooks's music videos.

Alicia Keys As I Am CD (2007)
Taking Chances album for sale The third full-length from contemporary R&B diva Alicia Keys is called AS I AM, a title that adequately reflects the album's straightforward, confessional soul-pop. Keys built her popularity making stylish, reflective, voice-and-piano music; AS I AM continues that trend, albeit in a poppier vein that balances neatly between neo-soul and adult contemporary. This is reflected in the midtempo grooves, songs of empowerment ("Superwoman"), and stirring ballads ("The Thing About Love"). Keys' collaborators on the album include songwriter Linda Perry, who co-wrote three of the album's tracks, and John Mayer, who twines voices with Keys on the sensual "Lesson Learned." Top-notch arrangements, which include gorgeous, retro-tinged flourishes via strings and horns, make the set shimmer, but it's the strength of the hook-heavy tunes and Keys' moving performances that make AS I AM stick. It's not the five-star album she's capable of, but it leaves little doubt that Keys is moving steadily in that direction.

One Heart CD (2003)
Taking Chances buy CD music The perennial Canadian chanteuse returns to the limelight with this snappy collection of contemporary pop in the vein of Cher's renaissance material, including the car-commercial-associated "I Drove All Night," and "Je T'Aime Encore," which is not, as you might assume, a remake of Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin's late-'60s sheet-ripping heavy-breather, but a sensitive acoustic exploration of lost love. Dion ventures into Britney territory with "Love Is All We Need," which is somewhat under the influence of Prince's "When Doves Cry," and she seems quite at home with the anthemic pure pop of the title track. However, it's the ballads, such as the sensitive, percolating "Stand By Your Side," and the climactic "Sorry For Love" that showcase Celine's voice to its best advantage, just as they always have. ONE HEART shows Celine Dion in transition from TITANIC ballad-belter to Las Vegas diva, and it's an assured and confident effort.
Includes the 3 bonus tracks "Forget Me Not", "I Know What Love Is" and "Je T'aime Encore"
Includes liner notes by Celine Dion.
Personnel includes: Celine Dion (vocals); Peer Astrom (various instruments, background vocals); Esbjorn Ohrwall (acoustic & electric guitar); Russ DeSalvo (guitar, piano, keyboards); John Shanks (guitar, background vocals); Chieli Minucci, Gildas Arzel, Peter Svensson (guitar); Erick Benzi (keyboards, drums, programming); Thomas Lindberg, Patrick Carroll, Yannick Hardouin (bass); Jeff Rothschild, Dan Chase (programming); Anna Nordell, Max Martin, Kara Dioguardi, Jeanette Olsson, Kimberly Brenner, Kenya Hathaway, Richard Page (background vocals).
