| | Blueberry Have Another Pillow CD (2003)
Bloom In The Commune CD music
$17.69 With Twilight Blueberry took listeners piggyback on what certainly qualifies as the sexiest bicycle ride around downtown New York City ever, but Have Another Pillow is something else entirely. Specifically, the album is a mystery wrapped inside an enigma spun out into a dark but sparkling neomedieval fairy tale. Call it concept funk but with the creamy aphrodisiac center still pumped like sweet filling through its 14 mouth-watering tunes. Or, to put it another way, if Twilight was the playful, early-evening come-on, Have Another Pillow is the full, adults-only bedtime story, complete with motley cast of characters, costumes, props, a plot, and climax -- more than a few of the latter, in fact -- as well as plenty of dancing sugarplums in between. The tale roughly runs according to the following outline: Blueberry is magically transported to La La Land, where, guided by the light of the Phoenix, she begins her ascension to Queen, happens ...

Bloom In The Commune album
$10.59 As I was growing up as a young boy in the projects of Camden, New Jersey in the mid 50's, I would somehow after playing all day with my friends find a couple of empty 5 gallon cans and begin whaling away, creating rythmic beats that were all improvised as I hammered away. That was my subtle beginning, not really being aware of what all that meant. I had the rythmn. As I grew older and put away my five gallon paint can I discovered more of my innate DNA,a sensation from within that excited my senses and made me find a groove. It was the piano sounds of Ahmad Jamal's "Poinciana" and Vince Guraldi's "Black Orpheus. That led me to Charlie Brown's soundtrack and Linus of the "Peanuts" cartoon. My awareness was sharpening and my feel for the rythmns was ever deepening. It never dawned on me during this entire revelation, aside from those 5 gallon paint cans, "why don't you learn how to play an instrment and make music". I knew music was in my blood, apart of my DNA, but it never turned me towards creating. All during the 70's and 80"s I had amassed an albumn collections second to none. From Lonnie Liston Smith to Billy Cobham. Creative Source to Chaka Kahn. From the Black Bryds, Bobbi ...

Bloom In The Commune CD music
$13.69 Sun And Moon Project:I began writing tunes for ‘Sun And Moon’ in 2003. The CD is 15 original guitar-based instrumental songs that were written with an emphasis on melody and groove. Once I began, the songs just kept flowing. Creating grooves with nice melodies was exciting and seemed to come easily for me. My musical influences include a wide range of styles and colors over many decades. As a result, this CD contains elements of smooth jazz, R&B, country and soft rock in a relaxed musical bed of backing strings, synth, and piano.I contacted my good friend, Herb Allen, to assist me in co-producing, arranging, as well as playing vibes on several tracks and composing the string parts.Another long-time friend, producer David Mackay, offered to produce and do the final mix. David suggested putting down some live drums and arranged for Bob Jenkins, a terrific and talented English drummer to play on the tracks. Herb Allen and I arranged the basic tracks at his studio here in Tucson. I then moved the project to England where Bob and Dave worked their magic.I’m very proud of the results and want to thank you for your interest. Please feel free to share any comments you might have by contacting: bob@bobhuffmusic.com I would love to hear from you.The Players:Bob Huff:My love for music began early in life. With the U.S. invasion by the Beatles at age ten, learning how to play the guitar became a must. Within a couple of years, I was forming and playing in bands in my hometown of Yuma, Arizona. In 1972, after graduation from high school and at the insistence of Taylor McBride, a very influential music teacher, I traveled the U.S. and Europe as a guitarist and vocalist with the international musical, Up With People. Between 1974 and 1979, I was the lead guitarist of ARIZONA, a pop-rock band that toured throughout the U.S. and recorded four albums for RCA Records. In 1979, I took a short 25 year hiatus from music and began a career with the Tucson ...
