| | Jaime Jorge Wonderful Peace CD Jaime Jorge Discography of CDs
Jaime began playing the violin at the age of five. Born and raised in communist Cuba, he was offered many opportunities-including offers to study in Moscow with some of the greatest musicians of our time-if only he and his family would renounce their belief in God. They refused. When Jaime was ten, miraculously, his family was given the opportunity to leave the country. They came to the United States, where Jaime received a Christian education and violin lessons with eminent violinist Cyrus Forough, a student of David Oistrakh and Josef Gingold. But Jaime dreamed of being a missionary medical doctor, and in 1994, was accepted by University of Illinois School of Medicine. In 1996, he left medical school and a promising medical career to devote himself to full-time music ministry. Since 1988 he has traveled over 4 million air miles and has played in North, Central and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and the Soviet Union (5 Continents in all and over 25 countries). He has recorded and released 15 albums. Jaime Jorge Wonderful Peace Songs | 1. | Moment By Moment |

| | Stephan Remmler CD (1986) Import
Wonderful Peace music CDs
$17.45 When German new wave band Trio broke up in 1985, the movement had long since lost the impact and vitality it had in the early '80s. The group's leader, Stephan Remmler, began work on a solo effort shortly afterwards, and despite the fact that German-language pop music was disappearing from the charts again, he managed to score two massive hits with his self-titled 1986 album: its first single, "Keine Sterne in Athen" ("No Stars in Athens") is a catchy and witty little tune that sounds like a perfect transition from Trio's minimalistic mew wave punk to Remmler's new musical direction, a somewhat ironic fusion of the German schlager -- the kitschy, simplistic pop music of earlier generations -- and modern pop. The album's other hit single, "Alles Hat Ein Ende (Nur Die Wurst Hat Zwei)" ("Everything Has an End [Only a Sausage Has Two]"), even became a staple of the German carnival, getting played over and over again in the alcohol-induced cheeriness of the beer tents.
Musically, Remmler's writing has always been seeking simplicity -- short, repetitive riffs and basic rhythms, concise lyrics and catchy melodies -- so his departure from the new wave punk of his former group isn't as radical as it might seem at first listen. Remmler is still writing songs with the same characteristics, but he explores other genres this time around -- genres which embrace simplicity, and which have always been sneered at by critics and "serious" music listeners alike: schlager, children's songs, marching band music, volksmusic (a special form of the schlager which emphasizes tradition and employs German folk music elements). What largely keeps ...

| | Tim Davis Don't Wanna Go Back CD (2004)
Wonderful Peace album
$10.15 Tim Davis is a talented singer, songwriter, and producer whose passion is to fulfill the destiny and plan that God has for his life. "Many of us go to the grave with our music inside of us; God forbid that from happening to me".A native of Kinston, NC, Tim always had a love for music growing up. He followed his brothers and sisters to band camp before he could even hold an instrument. He wrote his first songs with his brothers and sisters with the keyboard his mother bought him for Christmas at age 9. He's been writing and arranging songs ever since. His band director Ernest Fleming was very instrumental early on, helping him form his own go-go band, DC Express, in the 7th grade. He played trumpet, xylophone and keyboard throughout his band career and even learned a few songs from Maceo Parker when he would pop in on the choir or jazz band at Kinston High. But, it was Wynona E. Daves, choir director and long time family friend that helped him realize his vocal potential. It was during his first choral solo performance that he realized that this is what he wanted to do with his life. He went on to Norfolk State University where he received a Bachelor of Music degree with emphasis in media. While in Norfolk, Va. he sang and performed with many secular bands and singing groups such as Image, Intrigue and DC Bad Boyz and even opened up as a solo act for the likes of Method Man, Jeru the Damaja, and Zhane, one of the hottest female duos in the early nineties. After graduating from Norfolk State University his plan was to head to Atlanta and make it big as an R&B recording artist, but God had a different plan in mind. While at home preparing for the big move, ...
