Timbaland Timbaland Presents Shock Value CD (2007) Top Seller
51/50 Ratchet buy CD music "Bounce" is the keyword on SHOCK VALUE. Even when Timbaland isn't directly instructing listeners (and guest artists) to do so, it's implicit in his frantic bass-lines and hypnotic drum arrangements. As usual, the super-producer's undeniable talents behind the boards make a variety of unlikely collaborations jive perfectly. Timbaland goes from futuristic hip-pop ("Oh Timbaland," "Release," "Bounce") and dance floor R&B ("Fantasy," "The Way I Are") to synth-pop ("Time"), emo ("One and Only"), and sensitive rock ballads ("Apologize").
Tim's boy Justin Timberlake shows up on three cuts, including one of the album's tightest ("Give It to Me"), alongside Nelly Furtado. "Kill Yourself," sees Tim throwing verbal shots at rival Scott Storch as only a producer on a battle track can ("I'm number one/You ain't number sh*t/When they need a hit/I'm who they come to get"). Missy Elliot, Fall Out Boy, She Wants Revenge, 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, the Hives, Keri Hilson, Magoo, Elton John, and Dr. Dre all show up out this shockingly eclectic guest list.

Lil' Boosie Bad Azz CD (2006)
51/50 Ratchet album for sale Baton Rouge, Louisiana's favorite son, rapper Lil' Boosie, returns with his full-length solo debut on Trill Entertainment, Bad Azz. Whether it's a call to the dancefloor like "Ratchet" or a call to the streets like "Set it Off," Bad Azz captures a unique MC at the peak of his powers.
Recording information: Trill, Baton Rouge, LA.
Personnel: Lil' Boosie (rap vocals); Yung Joc, Pimp C, Webbie (rap vocals).

J. Holiday Back of My Lac' CD (2007)
51/50 Ratchet CD music Powered by the lead-off single "Bed," a smooth, catchy loverman track, BACK OF MY LAC', the debut album from Washington D.C.-based singer J. Holiday, is classic urban contemporary in the mold of R. Kelly. Like "Bed," the rest of the songs on BACK OF MY LAC' favor drum machine-fueled production and mid-to-downtempo grooves, which make a perfect backdrop for J. Holiday's expressive, sensuous tenor. Passionate but laid back in the cut, J. Holiday brings the urban soul goods on this strong, promising debut.

Soulja Boy Tell Em Souljaboytellem.com CD (2007)
51/50 Ratchet songs Propelled by the staggering success of his infectious lead single, "Crank That," the 17-year-old Chicago MC known as Soulja Boy presents his debut album on Collipark Music, SOULJABOYTELLEM.COM. Largely self-produced (Mr. Collipark contributes a few beats), Soulja Boy's first full-length effort is stacked with neck-snapping drum-tracks, zooming synthesizers, and call-and-response hooks that follow "Crank That"'s formula for success. From "Snap and Roll" to "Let Me Get Em" to "Donk" to "Booty Meat," it's clear that Soulja's objective is to put out as many dance-craze anthems as the clubs can handle. Yet, the record's most distinctive departure, and perhaps best track, is "Soulja Girl"--an R&B-driven ballad featuring I-15.
Personnel: Khari Crooms, Caitlin Gillead, Tori Jones (background vocals).
Additional personnel: Arab, I-15.
