'Miles Away From Yesterday' is a collection of songs I've carried with me for the last few years that I thought were too 'pretty' to let disappear. I've always loved the themes behind each of these song and wanted to present them in a way that would hold the attention of listeners from many different genres. This album began as a home recording project that has taken me from the basement of a friends house in the Berkeley hills, where the initial drum tracks were recorded, to it's completion at FM Recorders, a world class studio designed by Chip Davis. I've been fortunate to have worked with a very talented group of musicians and engineers over the past few years. Each of whom have been more than generous with their time and talents in making my debut album a reality. It has been an amazingly wonderful and sobering experience that has taught me about the technicalities of the recording process and the determination it takes to reach a finished product.
