Eleltromuze Volume One is the first of three unique techno electronic CDs from Ron Imhoff.Unlike my ambient "Chemistry" CD efforts (reference: http://www.kookiejar.com), Elektromuze is beat driven electronic dance music consisting of manual and midi driven synthesizers, standard and Roland GR-20 synthesized guitar and numerous synthesized drum programs. While many electronic music tracks of the current era contain repetitious looping structures and wave and echo effects, Elektromuze tracks were composed with a greater focus on classic verse and chorus sections reminiscent of songs with lyrics. This approach, along with the use of guitar and other instruments not often found in techno, is what allowed me to create the unique Elektromuze sounds. When she was only 13, Chelsea Williams was inspired by classic singer/songwriters like Neil Young and James Taylor, as well as the contemporary Lilith Fair Artists of the day, like Jewel, Sarah McLachlan and Sheryl Crow.
