| | Brian Keith God's House CD Brian Keith Discography of CDs
With this album God's House Brian Keith (a.k.a)L7 Square has taken it to a stronger and higher spiritual level. There are others that have tried this before like (Kanye West) with Jesus Walks but it seemed to be overly sampled. With God's House you can hear that it consists of all original Chicago house music. This is why the people in the u.k. and Japan enjoy this particular producer/artist's music. We are all given different names but in god's house we are the same. God's House album
$15.65 On THE BLUEPRINT 3, still unretired Jay-Z announces "the only rapper to rewrite history without a pen." It's a standard Jigga boast, but the Brooklyn icon has earned the bragging by backing it up, particularly on his gold-label, top-shelf BLUEPRINT series. Ever-ready for battle, Jay-Z takes on autotune, crossover radio, and many other hip-hop concerns with the gloriously jagged rap elan for which he's become known.
When Jay-Z first made a series out of his best album, 2001's The Blueprint, it became a game of high expectations. The first volume saw Jay-Z as vital as he'd ever been, storming back to the hardcore after a few years of commercial success. THE BLUEPRINT 2 took a different tack, with guest shots to compliment his sinuous flows. BLUEPRINT 3 is somewhere between the two, closer to the vitality and energy of the original but not ...

$13.69 HANDS MUSIC PROJECT is a creative outlet for its producer, Michael Lack. âImaginary Linesâ is the first release by the House of Hands Music Company on the House of Hands Records label. âImaginary Linesâ brings together the talents of songwriter Chuck Maiden, producer Michael Lack, co-producer and guitarist Loren Watts, lead vocalist Brad Cyrier, and many professional Pacific Northwest musicians. âImaginary Linesâ blends classic garage guitar with a tasty interplay between drums and percussion topped off with some nice vocal arrangements. With the music of Chuck Maiden as its foundation, âImaginary Linesâ is a Rock and Pop delight that will please many listeners again and again. Michael says, âI had some great songs to work with and a guitarist in Loren who is very eager to be produced and directed. Some of the vocal parts are very complex and the singers were willing to try new things and venture out of their comfort zone so that helped. Then I added the modern keyboard sounds and overdubbed the rest of the backing vocals myself and ended up with what I think is one of my best production works.â A long time fixture on the Seattle music scene, Michael played drums and sang lead vocals for a number of Northwest bands in the early â70âs. In 1978 he formed HANDS along with California transplant Chuck Maiden, guitarist Loren Watts, and bassist Leroy Webb. HANDS quickly became a favorite in the local venues and among their peers in the business during the pre-grunge era of Seattle Rock music. Their live show consisted of many covers but it was their original music that they quickly became known for. They did a four hour show with a mix of obscure and well known covers with their own music mixed in liberally. They could have easily done a four hour show just doing originals. HANDS wrote and recorded constantly during every phase of their career. They received numerous major label inquiries and in 1982 appeared on KZOK FMâs âKZOK Best of the Northwest-1982â LP with a song written by Chuck, âAngel Loveâ. In 1983 the band officially went their separate ways and Michael stepped out from behind the drums to work on his vocals and keyboards. âItâs not easy playing Rock drums and having to sing lead or strong backup ...

$10.15 The Midwestâs own, THA BRAIN, A.K.A.Captain Hook was born in the heart of Kansas City. As early as age 9, THA BRAIN started spitting freestyles with older uncles and in the neighborhood. It was about age 12 when he joined his first rap group and became popular for his rapping abilities. From lunchroom freestyles, to school videos, and numerous talent shows, Brian consistently left listeners, of any walk of life, captivated and thoroughly impressed with his talent (from the neighborhood thugs to the classroom teachers). To date, he has âstuck outâ and been compared among some of the most elite talent in hip-hop. Along the way he picked up the alias âTHA BRAINâ, rooted from the often misspelling of his name, lyrical talent and intelligence. Record deals, countless hours at the studio, shows and a passion for the ârap gameâ, was countered by the low potential of âblowing upâ in KC. THA BRAINâs mom was always a strong advocate of education and his admiration for her and her wishes influenced him to pursue a higher education. This path put a pause on THA BRAINâs rapping career, although continuing to gain many more fans at a larger scale. Fast forward to his arrival back to KC. As stated by a clever line he dropped in at age 15,âGOD gave me this rapping/wrapping gift, so Ima let all yall feel my presents/presenceâ, THA BRAIN has been driven by his lifelong dreams and God-given talent to present himself to the world in the form of brilliant hip-hop music. From rapping, to production, to ownership, THA BRAIN is ready to âGhetter Doneâ (A 5th Lane song title). In addition to his extraordinary talent, he brings perspective from various angles to whom he accredits Almighty GOD for his many experiences (good and bad), a breathe of fresh air with his content and not to mention, one of his closest friends and the other half of his rap group 5th Lane, âVISIONâ. âVISIONâ (Given from his lyrical ability to paint pictures with rhymes) was born north of Kansas City in desolate, grimy, Waterloo, (H2O-loo) IA. As a youth he was always musically inclined. From dabbling with various instruments in elementary music classes, to memorizing every song with a catchy tune, he always had a natural ability to follow the patterns of music. As long as he can remember his family had always instilled a strong belief in God in his life. Hard times and the wrong crowd had âVISIONâ out until the street lights came on, and scheming on plans to make a quick dollar barely into his teens. Through the first half of his childhood, his mother (the only parent he had) worked long hours to support them. The course of life had them moving almost as many times as years he was on the earth and he believes that the move the Kansas City when (at age 14) actually forced him to start looking at another path in life. Athletic abilities and musical knowledge had him with a handful of friends within the first week of high school. That school can actually be labeled the birthplace of â5th Laneâ. During that year he met âTHA BRAIN.â âVISIONâ followed ...
