| | Fear Blind Step Inside CD Fear Blind Discography of CDs
Determined and hungry with uncompromising perseverance is one way to describe the up-and-coming Michigan hard-rock band, Fear Blind. The musical lineup was formed in 2001 of guitarist Ryan LaChappelle, bassist Billy McDonald and drummer Dave Foster, but the band has cycled through many vocalists. With each new search, the band sought a more dynamic and versatile frontman than the last. Their search ended in 2005 when Brent Wheeler filled the void that so many other vocalists failed to occupy. With aggressive guitar riffs, driving bass lines, intricate drumming and melodic yet dynamic vocals, Fear Blind has proven themselves a force to be reckoned with. The dynamics of the group at whole is unparalleled, with songs that can appeal to individuals of many walks of life. The groups focus is not to purposely sound a certain way or maintain a pre-determined vibe, the focus is to write music that represents the Fear Blind as whole. Repetitious, predictable, and boring are not words used when describing the powerful line up that is Fear Blind.Having opened for such national acts as Nonpoint, Taproot, Days Of The New, Ra, 10 Years, Hurt, The Exies, Cherry Monroe, Solace for Now, Celldweller, Mower, Till We Die, Anew Revolution, Seemless and others, Fear Blind has established themselves as a versatile act with an energy rich live performance that could rival any nationally touring act.Whether playing for ten or ten-thousand, the band puts every ounce of energy into their performance, giving every fan beyond their money’s worth.Be sure to grab your copy of Fear Blind's "Step Inside", you won't be disappointed... | | U2 No Line On The Horizon CD (2009)
Step Inside songs
$10.49 There's no shortage of legendary producers in line to work with music world titans U2; when work with Rick Rubin broke off, Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois stepped in. The resulting NO LINE ON THE HORIZON, 2009's offering from the Irish rockers, continues in the grand U2 tradition, as soaring pop anthems like opening single "Get on Your Boots" pair with experimental melanges like "Tripoli," on a striking album featuring touches of all the albums come before, yet hinting at new worlds for Bono to conquer.
After spending the 1990s experimenting with electronic music and returning to arena-ready rock during the first few years of the 21st century, U2 stakes out territory somewhere between those two points on 2009's NO LINE ON THE HORIZON. Enlisting its go-to production trio of Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, and Steve Lillywhite, the Irish quartet seems intent on crafting a quirkier companion piece to HOW TO DISMANTLE AN ATOMIC BOMB, and they succeed with restless tracks such as "Get on Your Boots," which sounds like "Vertigo" hijacked by T. Rex, and "Stand Up Comedy," a wiry number that lets the Edge cut loose with barbed guitar lines. Some of most striking songs on HORIZON are the ones that venture farthest from U2's comfort zone, as on the surprisingly weighty title track, a ...

| | John Denver Rocky Mountain Christmas CD (1975)
Step Inside CD music
$6.09 This 1998 reissue contains 5 bonus tracks (including the previously
unreleased "White Christmas") not included on the original release.
John Denver's music always had a warm, home-spun quality to it, so it isn't surprising that his 1975 holiday effort, Rocky Mountain Christmas, is a wonderfully low-key and friendly Christmas album. Divided between classic carols and new numbers, such as the fine "Aspenglow" and "Christmas for Cowboys," the album is an appealing, pretty record, perfect for late nights by the fireside. The 1998 CD reissue adds five bonus tracks: "Jingle Bells," "White Christmas," "The Music is You," "Perhaps Love," and "Dreamland Express." ~ Rodney Batdorf

| | Kid Koala Carpal Tunnel Syndrome CD (2000) (Import) United Kingdom
Step Inside music CDs
$10.59 "Abstract hip doodlings" is probably the best way to describe this release on Coldcut's Ninja Tunes label. It's a kind of lo-fi scrapbook of sound, featuring everything from filtered sounds of real instruments to obscure samples of film dialogue. If you're a fan of Andrew Weatherall's work as Two Lone Swordsmen or DJ Shadow and you like the Mo Wax and Grand Royal labels, then this is your bag.
With its roots in turntablism and hip-hop, this is the true avant-garde of dance music, but CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME defies anyone to dance to it. That's not to say that it isn't fun--beats, blips and weird samples make a refreshing change from all the dance-by-numbers stuff that is out there. Doubtless it would be great for a long car journey because it keeps you guessing all the way. You really don't know what Kid Koala is going to throw into the mix second by second--here a twisted sound, there a snippet of '50s television dialogue, there a rap sample. This album is a perfect ...
