The second Crossroads Concert, a day-long concert featuring legendary music and collaborations, was filmed on July 28, 2007 to benefit the Crossroads Centre in Antigua. The festival featured the music of Clapton, along with that of many other musicians, including Jeff Beck, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Los Lobos, John Mayer, Willie Nelson, Robert Randolph, Robbie Robertson and more. Rhino's royalties from the sale of this DVD will benefit Crossroads Centre. Also includes behind-the-scenes footage. In 2004 the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, played host to the first Crossroads Guitar Festival--a musical event curated by Eric Clapton. The 2007 incarnation of the event followed a similar pattern to the first show, and features stars such as Jeff Beck, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, and Buddy Guy. Many of the musicians perform guest slots with other acts on the bill, making this a truly special occasion, and Clapton also uses the event to pay a moving tribute to the recently deceased Beatle George Harrison. All the money generated by the concert goes to aid the Crossroads Center, which is a nonprofit addiction treatment facility in Antigua. I don't believe in god - but I believe in Clapton. This is a great DVD with the guitar playing from all the players at a very high level.

Another Crossroads DVD seeing Eric in great form. A few Country stars on this one who impress with their talent but the most impressive performance is from John Mayer. John was on the last Crossroads DVD circa 2003 as a young lad with potential. He has now matured into a brilliant guitarist with excellent singer song writing abilities. Wonderful music from B.B.King may the man continue forever!
All in all another DVD worth the money. Go buy it you wont be disappointed.

Show was done for a great cause. I wish they had put other songs done by Jeff beck, & Sheryl Crow... There was a lot of great music that was played, & not put on the DVD. There is though only so many hours you can put on The DVD. The choice of Willie Nelson's preformance was not a good Choice for the DVD, very pitchy. If you like the Blues, you will love This DVD.

Worth the price. Not as good as the first one I thought. But, some good moments (Johnny Winter, Steve Wiunwood, Buddy Guy, even John Mayer stand out). Buy it and enjoy!
