Remember Dirty music CDs
$14.79 On this disc, (aka "Los Tokens con Mitch Margo-Esta Noche, el Leon Baila"), the Tokens go Latin all the way, including reversible-booklet cover artwork to make the album bilingually friendly in any kind of record-shop setting, and the results are one of the coolest, most original and downright listenable discs that's come down the pike this year. The boys have always sung like birds anyway, but the level of writing (Margo's "Only in My Dreams" is absolutely beautiful) and arranging on this disc this time around is something to hear in the sanctity of your home with the volume cranked up just enough to get dancing. This doesn't sound like a bunch of gringos attempting something, this sounds like the real deal, indeed. With a bilingual booklet filled with easy-to-follow dance steps (in lion pawprints, no less!) courtesy of the Fred Astaire Dance Studios, this is one fun project that you can tell that the guys had an absolute ball putting together. ~ ...

$10.15 There's a magic that happens when the six friends who call themselves Newcomers Home takes the stage-an indefinable spark made up of equal parts innocence and aggression-which has ignited audiences across the country. The appeal of this Colorado-based sextet is rooted in the songwriting and instrumental prowess of its members, which, combined with their live energy and emotion, has sent critics raving about the band's "mesmerizing live performances" and "fiercely loyal national fanbase.Newcomers Home, which began as a dorm-room musical experiment, played its inaugural gig in December of 1998 at a small coffee shop on "the Hill" in Boulder. At that juncture the band members didn't realize that they were embarking upon their post-college careers and what would later be called ...

| | Lucky Lucianni Thousand Thoughts A Second CD (2007)
Remember Dirty music CDs
$11.39 Hitting rock bottom gives you two choices: survive or die. At only twenty-one years of age, Lucky Lucianni had already found himself on the surviving end of this decision countless times. His family-born cycle of drugs, abuse, and violence led to a collection of multiple felonies, a few too many overdoses, and forced enrollment in a behavior modification center by age fifteen, where his lifelong love for music was fed only by late night sessions with a FM radio. Almost two years passed with his life and dreams put on hold, being brainwashed in an unknown mountain range, the radio waves his only solace. When he was finally released in a mental fog, his keepers believed he had been reprogrammed to live the life of a good, moral member of society. However, the learned behavior that earned him his freedom was quickly forgotten the minute his feet hit the streets of San Jose, California once again. Lucky was born out of this dramatic shift from light to darkness; from the glossy utopian ideals he was fed while in rehab, to the harsh, grim realities of day to day life in the city. At first, he set out to find freedom by simply joining the ranks of the violent masses: once again doing drugs, committing petty crimes, and generally being a detriment to the proper functions of society. His natural ambition was evident, and even though his aim was destructive, he chased his goal with fierce determination. His journey into the gutter didn’t bother him at all. Content with his dangerous addictions, hair-trigger temper, and steadily growing rap sheet of close encounters with violence and the law, Lucky lived and loved the derelict life. This careless phase of his life lasted until the night he was attacked with a sledgehammer during a fight with four neighborhood ...
