| | Melanie Fiona Bridge CD (2009)
Wander Songs
$8.78 Melanie Fiona's debut single, "Give It to Me Right," was a perfect 2009 pop-R&B recording. The single coupled a timeless classic (the Zombies' "Time of the Season") with roof-raising vocals and infectious pop hooks that stuck like peanut butter. Fiona's single was perfect, albeit a touch formulaic. Because of this, it's no surprise that a large chunk of her debut album, THE BRIDGE, is much of the same. Like any good 2009 pop-soul recording, the album offers influences from decades of soul music. Fiona, a Kanye West protégé, collaborates with about as many styles of music as she has producers and writers, who include most prominently Canadian R&B singer-songwriter Andrea ...

Wander Songs
$11.18 Although Steve Vai and Joe Satriani get the lion's share of the credit for popularizing "instrumental guitar-driven rock" for metalheads in the late '80s, another gentleman was merrily shredding on the six-string around this same era (and issuing all-instrumental recordings, as well) -- Steve Morse. And despite a full-time gig as Ritchie Blackmore's replacement in Deep Purple since 1994, Morse has managed to find the time along the way to reunite with his trusty rhythm ...

| | Sons Of Nothing Clarity CD (2006)
Wander Songs
$7.95 CLARITY, the third album from Sons Of Nothing, forges a more solid musical identity for the band than previous releases. Though still a collection of varied moods and modes, it represents a major tightening of SoN's notoriously eclectic sound. Unlike the One Left Turn EP, which had been recorded over a short period in a conventional studio, the sounds of CLARITY were captured by SoN's own recording gear and utilizing a more flexible timetable. The band members shared production and songwriting credit and fluidly swapped vocal and instrumental performances, building the synergy of every new track from the ground up.The rewards of such an approach can be heard in how comfortably the album's diverse musical threads are woven together. From the haunting orchestrations of "Death Or Something Like It" to the frenetic twists and turns of "Positively Evil," from to the surreal electronica of "Juneau" to the guitar-hero grind of "Mr Serious," a cohesive musical journey unfolds. The sonic wanderlust is also tied together by the album's lyrical themes, which combine differing moments of clarity (the ...
| | James Blackwood Lost Recordings CD (2006)
Wander Songs
$18.95 James Blackwood is a legend in the world of all music genres, and most certainly in the worlf of gospel music. He is the most nominated artist of all genres of music in the Grammy Awards and has won 9 of them. He also commands a covey of Dove Awards unequalled in that industry.James started in the 1930's with his brothers, thus the name "The Blackwood Brothers" was created. The first group to be signed to a major label, RCA Victor, in the 1950's after winning the Author Godfrey Talent Scouts TV show, they immediately became household names and were touring some 200 + dates a year from city to city and filling concert halls nationwide. When his brother R.W. and bass singer Bill Lyles were killed in a plane crash, James vowed he would never sing again. Fortunately, God had other plans for this "minister of music" to the world. He returned to the stage with new members and immediately won again the Talent Scout show and things were on their way for him and his quartet.During the 1970's, James was aware that he might not always be in the greatest voice for his quartet and when time was left in the studio after the quartet had finished their latest project, he would send the group to the bus and keep the paino player in the studio. James's plan was to record his voice with the paino only and later, if his voice was not good, or even if he might be gone, the group could come back into the studio and record their parts around this and have new music for ...

| | Allan Martin Osman Waiting Inside CD (2007)
Wander Songs
$11.49 Imagine that a Metaphysical Master put some of his most important spiritual lessons into his songs and recorded them with the production help of one of his spiritual students. That is the short history of how this CD entitled, “Waiting Inside,” was made. The slightly longer history is below. As a beginning singer-songwriter in the early 1970s, one day Allan Martin Osman got fed up with the state of this world and declared, “There must be more to life than what goes on in this crazy world, so I must find it.” With this declaration, Allan put aside his professional and musical pursuits to seek Higher Consciousness. He read, he searched, he stood on his head, meditated for hours, but found nothing that made total sense to him until, in his early twenties, he met a Metaphysical-Spiritual Master Teacher in Los Angeles, California who he now affectionately calls, Lady Master Bernice.Bernice was a caring, fun-loving, extremely intuitive, clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsenscient Spiritual Master Teacher (and remains so now from the Other Side of Life). She combined her conscious connection to God within her with wonderful practical counseling skills and was already helping many people when Allan met her. After some initial resistance, Allan embraced the loving, caring God that Bernice knew and shared so intimately; and he began to not only live, but eventually to teach, The Keys to Reality Teachings that Bernice had brought onto the planet.Having previously studied some serious Yoga Teachings, and some even more serious Zen Buddhist teachings, Allan had put his musical side on hold until he encountered Bernice’s loving teachings, which soon brought out the spiritual words and music from deep within him. With this change of heart, Allan began to write songs again, but instead of songs complaining about the mindless pollution and waste of natural resources this modern world was guilty of, Allan began to write songs about the many “larger than life” spiritual insights that came to him through his study and counseling work with Lady Master Bernice.Beginning with just his voice and guitar, Allan’s spiritual songwriting and performing evolved throughout the 70s and 80s. He stopped performing when he took his place as a full time Spiritual Teacher in the early 80s, which relegated him to singing his “message” songs part-time at the Prayers for the Planet Meetings he conducted back then in Los Angeles, and still conducts now in Las Vegas.Allan had never professionally recorded any of his spiritual songs until 1997 when he recorded this CD entitled, “Waiting Inside.” The spiritual messages in the songs of “Waiting Inside” are universal and uplifting; the music is reminiscent of a combination of the Moody Blues and Genesis. Allan ...
