Dalva album
$11.99 The music of Dead Can Dance has long been a favorite of the "Goth" crowd; however, AION is really the first one of the band's records that can actually be called Gothic in the classic, renaissance sense. Arguably Dead Can Dance's most successful record, it contains the band's most consistent set of songs since SPLEEN AND IDEAL. Widening their view to encompass more of the ancient world than with earlier records, ...

$19.59 It is nearly impossible to imagine a time when reggae was not part of the cultural currency. Though Bob Marley and the Wailers cannot be said to have invented the style, they certainly brought it to the world stage, and this album was the torch that lit the way. | | Big Beat Tornado Groovopolis CD (2005)
Dalva songs
$16.19 Big Beat Tornado hails from Reading, Pennsylvania - the home of outlet malls, pretzel factories, and one of the railroads on the Monopoly board that always costs more when you land on it 'cause your girlfriend owns all four of them. This eight-piece band, fronted by dual female lead vocalists, combines veteran performers and fresh newcomers to create a highly charged musical experience. BBT lays down their very original brand of Funk for a New Generation, augmented by diggable cover tunes ranging in styles from Parliament to Dee-Lite.The Reading Eagle reported that "rarely does a band feature one exceptionally talented female singer, yet BBT boasts two. And each adds to the other, switching from lead to backup to harmony with ease and a sense of egolessness. Each seems to try to find ways for the other to shine vocally (and lyrically)." Singer/lyricist Angela Ezell continues her tradition of theatrical stage antics and melodic expression to form half of the focal point of this veritable onstage party. And meet Sue Groove, your other center ring melodious hostess-with-the-mostest, who recently returned from the Great White North with a shiny new Bachelorette of Music degree in her bag. Imagine if Ginger and Mary Ann were BOTH naughty!Brad Bansner is responsible for all of the wah-wah guitar chunking, as well as the keyboards. And a good bit of the writing. Oh yeah, and the website, some recording engineering, and other stuff too, probably. A review of Brad's last solo effort, Programme D'Experience in Frets, Axes and Riffs magazine exclaims, "I'm surprised this dude's fingers didn't fall the hell off." That's Brad. BBT was the vision of bassist Christopher Layser, ...

| | Mike Edington God So Loved The World CD (2008)
Dalva CD music
$18.99 God So Loved the WorldPerformed on the 3-manual, 35-rank Austin organ (Opus 2259) at First Presbyterian Church of Winchester, Virginia during the 50th anniversary of its installation. Recorded by Organist Mike Edington of Woodstock, VA.About the Organ:The Austin (Opus 2259) resides in the First Presbyterian Church in Winchester, Virginia. The organ was installed in the autumn of 1957 and dedicated in a service on November 26, 1957. This project was recorded in December 2007 at the time of its 50th anniversary celebration. The organ has 35 ranks distributed over three manual keyboards and a pedal keyboard. The 2,231 pipes, handcrafted and voiced for this organ in this space, are located in special chambers built on opposite sides of the chancel with an additional chamber at the rear of the sanctuary. The north chamber houses the Great Division, the south chamber the Swell Division, with the rear chamber housing the Antiphonal Division. All Swell, Antiphonal and Great voices are under expression except for the Diapasons in the Great. There are many mechanical controls and octave couplers available giving this organ flexibility. The tonal qualities of this Austin pipe organ are classically American, with inspiration drawn from English cathedral organs. The organ also has some symphonic organ characteristics offering three different celestes and solo reed voices such as clarinet and oboe (haut bois). About the Organist:Mike Edington, organist at Woodstock United Methodist Church (Woodstock,Virginia), has been playing the organ since age 12. ...
