$10.29 Sydney based band, Jonah’s Road, has developed a significant following in the Australian music scene over the past few years. The contemporary sound is a feature gaining them many new fans and the respect of their peers thanks to fantastic live shows, tight vocal harmonies and great songwriting. The highly anticipated new album, Counting Down The Days, was released in January 2007 and is expected to repeat the success of the band’s multi-award winning first album Hold On. Jay, John & Rodney spent most of 2006 writing and recording the album. It was recorded and co-produced by Matt Fell at Love Hz studios and mixed by Robbie Specogna at Main Street Studios. The result is a collection of upbeat songs and soaring ballads highlighting the harmony-driven, country-pop sound for which the band is becoming well known. The first radio single is the title track Counting Down The Days which is an upbeat song written by Jay & Jasper Somerville-Collie in collaboration with Travis List. Recent reviews about the new album include:“Counting Down the Days is a highly appealing, very well-produced album full of catchy, appealing and superbly-crafted songs. More importantly, it is an album that touches the heart, makes you laugh, and provides an insight into human nature.”“The vocals alone make this a memorable album, but add in the musicianship, the songs and that intangible magic that comes from a tight-knit band and Counting Down the Days is a real winner.” Sue Jarvis, CAPITAL NEWS“….this album has the depth and genre-crossing ability that ...

$9.99 "PREACHA"BiographyPreacha: Someone who delivers a sermon, an advocate, in earnest.Preacha: A rap artist, with a message, we can all identify with as the "truth." Preacha is a hip-hop soloist from the East Side of Detroit who has been well schooled in the realm of rap music. After going through the ups and downs that it takes to get started in the game, he began his pilgrimage with a group known as "Mass Confusion Productions." Because of artistic differences he later split with the group but maintained the rights to the name. Subsequently, he formed a production company that now falls under the name "Mass Confusion Productions." Not only is Preacha a rhyme sayer but he's not sleeping on the business side either. Apparently there's more than rhyming to this hard-core sermonator. While opening for established acts such as "Too Short", "Wu Tang", "Mystical", "Big Mike", etc. Preacha is currently unsigned and working on a joint of his own. His style definitely has a hard-core edge but unlike countless others, Preacha is successful in delivering a realistic message. To get an ideal of his vibe, he's a unique mix of Cube, Scarface and KRS. But listening to him you would swear the mixture is truly original. Providing a rare perspective he tells you with raw delivery what he views as what's wrong in our race, culture and streets in the following verse:"Um tired of seeing my people hongry, Tired of seeing our people not eatin, So we run around like heathens, waitin on the feedin, Stalkin' the Black Man down the block, With the Benz, So they jackin' him when he leavin', Now let me give you the reason for this treason, Or genicide even, Leavin' a whole race and a generation greivin', Don't get it twisted, they got us enlisted in a game we cant play, Ain't winnin it no way, We need to get a game of our own, Black men need to start takin care of their home, And means takin care of their own, Doing it like "Master P" did it with Lil Rome, In the hopes that we may all get along."And that's real.Preacha began his life grasping the mic in 1999. While enduring the growing pains ...

$7.99 ONLINE MAGAZINE ARTICLE: Friday, June 01, 2007http://ahablogolicious.blogspot.com/New Music Review: Kate Voegel and Reality Addiction MySpace Records has a Winner with Kate and......Should Take a Look at Indie Band, Reality AddictionAround the Pacific Northwest, namely Seattle, WA, it is a sunny and warm day. It's one of those relaxing days where thrash or punk is out of place. So a bit of music that is easy on the ears and soothing to the heart is on today's review list.Reality Addiction is a mix of rock, pop and acoustic. From the three listings they had on their MySpace site, I'd say soft rock, which suited my mood just fine. With finely blended acoustics, wrapped lightly with drums, keyboards and electric guitars, the New Jersey natives can roll and rock with the best of them. The musicality is matched by the smooth and haunting vocals of lead singer Dustin W. and the insightful, purposeful lyrics. Smokescreen was my favorite of the three offered and I hope that the group has some driving tunes to match the smooth ones in their arsenal (and put them up on the site quickly.)Those in the New York and New Jersey areas undoubtedly already know about this gem and apparently quite a few in Israel as well. For the rest of us though, take a listen and risk a little addiction in your reality, their site is athttp://www.myspace.com/realityaddictionCG AndersonLittle Dogs MediaPRESS RELEASE: 04 Jun 2007 http://www.indymedia.org/en/2007/06/887019.shtmlThe 5 man, New Jersey-based pop/rock ...
