| Best British Rockin' Blues If you like original British Blues, this is an excellent example! John Baldry at his best! I Love This Album! By Terri (Tehachapi, California) This review is for a different format. |
| best Baldry album I listened to the vinyl version in the early 70's. I still have that vinyl version, in fact, but so rarely listen to vinyls today. Finally I can enjoy the album now and without any of the scratches & pops too. And the bonus cuts make it even more desirable. Yay! | one of the classic albums of blues rock I grew up on this album in the early seventies, it's still one of my favorites. PS I remember LJB concerts at the University of Alberta, but my recollection is as cloudy as the venue was back then. By Neil (Vancouver, BC) This review is for a different format. |
| No one like him in the world This man is a legend. A shame he had to leave Australia to be recognized. Yes, he was Australian! I heard him in England many times. No body like him. A born Pied Piper, so far ahead of the world. Met his cousin the other day. He was amazed that I not only knew him, but that I also know how Elton John got his name! Ask Elton, he was John's back up..... By 1bird.of.paradise (Melbourne, Australia) This review is for a different format. |
| A Perfect Album! Trust me. I grew up in Edmonton back when Long John Baldery used to came and play the Dinwoodie Lounge at the U.of A. One night the power went out. Pete Wons, of the Canadian Encyclopedia, and I watched Long John Baldry pick up a Martin guitar and play "...with an ol' hat on the floor, collecting pennies." Long John Baldry is dead, Long live Long John Baldry! We love you, and we miss you. It Ain't Easy is a perfect album. ( Dude, for this album you really need more stars.) By Michael.Mayo (Olympia, WA, USA) This review is for a different format. |
