Raised in Ashcroft, a small town just outside of Sydney, Australia, Jewls started singing at an early age. He moved back to Malta in 2001 and has pursued music as a career ever since. He is also known as 'ozzylino' in Malta, 'Lino' being his Christian name and 'ozzy' referring to his Australian background. He is a very well known, successful and admired musician in Malta. He has an extraordinary ability to entertain audiences in a variety of venues, and has captivated crowds as large as 7,000 in pubs, clubs, hotels, and numerous charity events in Australia, Europe and North America.
