| | David Spak Storm CD (2005)
New Song, New Sound music CDs
$16.45 He was born in Milltown, New Jersey where he lived until he was 7 years old at which time his family relocated to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. David was brought up and surrounded by music his whole life. His father was a recording artist in the 60's "Emil Spak And The Encores" and with a couple hits of his own, was ultimately inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Following high school, David went to Boston and attended Berklee College of Music where he gained his formal music education. After graduating with a songwriting degree, David played drums and sang with many bands up and down the East Coast. In 2000, he decided to head to Nashville to showcase his music, but instead, found he only showcased his carpentry skills by taking any construction job he could get. David finally took a job at a Nashville studio where, by chance, he got the break he was hoping for. One day at the studio, a producer heard about David's skills as a percussionist and asked him to play on a couple tracks but only had one hour. Not having any musical instruments with him and no time to get them David improvised. Using materials he found around the studio, he made the most of this one time opportunity to showcase his talent. So within an hour, he produced out of rocks, hammers, metal and building materials he found in and around the studio, a sound design recording that impressed the producer and thus began his career in Nashville. This makeshift recording session demonstrated beyond doubt that David's music came from within and was the launch pad for what would become an exciting and dynamic journey as a professional musician. From those humble beginnings David's career has exploded into a spectrum of musical expression. His accomplishments include touring on the concert stage (averaging 150 shows a year) with prominent artists such as Blake Shelton, Mindy McCready and Jill King. Recording with top names in the recording industry such as Multi-platinum R&B artist India Arie, Spike 1000, Greenwheel, ...

New Song, New Sound music CDs
$15.19 Singer/Songwriter Christy Jefferson’s Career at an Exciting Peak with NEW ALBUM Release on Sept. 21st, 2007DOYLESTOWN, PA – August 6, 2007 – Doylestown based singer/songwriter Christy Jefferson’s new album, Living Curiously, will be released on Friday, September 21st and supported with two celebratory full-band performances. This album – her fourth released through her indie label, Terrinish – represents the musical culmination of a year’s work, and the career of an artist who has had her fair share of ups and downs.Impressive accomplishments marked it a successful year for Jefferson and found her reveling at new heights in her musical career. She opened-up for rock legend Kansas, worked with world-class producers on her new album (producers whose credits include Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Dresden Dolls, and others), and signed a deal with a booking agency who has taken over all her college / university bookings. These expansive opportunities together with the new album itself beautifully frame an artist who is coming into her own, and this time around, she has been enjoying the roses without the thorns. Jefferson is well adapt at overcoming obstacles. She was in a major car accident on the way to the CD release for her second album, Live in Philly, though she still managed to make it to the event and perform that night. She had to re-record from scratch her third album, When Kisses Take Prisoners, after an equipment malfunction ate one of her tapes in the studio. Back in 2004, all her instruments were stolen from her before a performance at famous venue CBGBs in New York City. The beloved songstress’ family, friends, and fans collected enough money to replace her gear in just three days. Laryngitis ...
| | Mortal Machine Dead Girls Don't Say No CD (2007)
New Song, New Sound songs
$10.09 Way back in 1995, an unknown independent CD was released that would cause controversy around the world. The album was created by mastermind producer, Master James. The concept of the album was loosely based on the horror film, Phantom of the Opera as well as the ongoing real life drama of the infamous O.J. Simpson case.Recording began in late 1994 in a make shift attic recording. Songs emerged dealing with unrequited love, kinky sex, oontrol issues, passionate lust and dark desires set to industrial dance beats and techno rhythms slashed with guitar riffs, choir vocals and sexy moans. The cd was released in late 1995 under the name "Asylum Choir" to the world thru mailouts, internet word of mouth and music swapping. The results were incredibly divided between total praise from music aficionados and vile disgust from feminists. The cd even became the topic of conversation at Billboard's Summit Music Conference in 1996 where it was described as the most disgusting music ever produced and the possibly the downfall of new music altogther! That same year,"Dead Girls Don't Say No" reached #7 in the top 50 on the Alphabeat Radio Network. This radio network is syndicated and broadcast to 14 countries in Europe and the Eastern Hemisphere! The CD stayed on the charts for ...
