To the common eye, this ministry would seem like a college student handing out hotdogs in a park, but on those bleak streets revival, growth, and healing were taking place. The close ties Cameron made in Michigan spurred him to continue his interactions with the homeless when he moved to Baltimore, Maryland to pursue a Master’s Degree from the prestigious Peabody Conservatory of Music. Cameron Blake discovered his gift in song writing at a time when he was experiencing conservatory burn out. "During my first semester at Peabody, I realized that my life had become one dimensional. Music is just noise if it doesn't have soul and yet, here I was, spending eight to ten hours a day in a windowless practice room. I had little joy and felt disconnected from life.
