| | Pink Martini Splendor In The Grass CD (2009) Digipak
Goin' Home CD music
$13.39 Pink Martini follow the around-the-world-in-a-dozen-songs thrills of HEY EUGENE! with SPLENDOR IN THE GRASS, a mellower, simpler set of small pleasures. These are relative terms, however; the group's music is still well-traveled, with China Forbes singing in five languages (English, Spanish, Neapolitan, French, and Italian) instead of the six or so on EUGENE!. However, Pink Martini opt for a more unified sound here, one that draws on the more straightforward lounge-pop of their debut, SYMPATHIQUE, and the mellowness of '60s and '70s pop. SPLENDOR IN THE GRASS' first half is especially smooth, ...

Goin' Home album
$15.19 Brad has been playing music, in some form, for most of his life. It started in Miami, Florida as a teenager playing at parties and singing. He discovered he had a real gift as a musician, songwriter and performer. When he moved to North Carolina he got his first paying gig in a house band at 20 years old. His original band moved to Southern California to pursue their dream of rock stardom. After a few member changes the band became Daddy Warbucks which was one of the most well known and hottest bands on the LA circuit. Eventually, Brad fell in love with Northern California and decided to relocate. From there he toured Europe with a country blues band for two months. He also did a lot of recording, performing, and played with numerous other musical projects. Finally his dream of creating a solo recording was realized. Walk with the Elements was born. And here it is Now! Brad performed all of the vocals and instrumentation except the drums which were played by Chris Krotky. Chris also engineered and co-produced the project. Brad is very pleased to be able to share his music with the world. Now you get to enjoy the listening pleasure of his years of experience and creativity. Be Moved and Have Fun!Having versatile tastes, he ...

$31.45 | | Twilight Broadcast Variety Show CD (2009)
Goin' Home CD music
$15.19 On a bleak and stormy December night, during the darkest point of the year 2006, the band Twilight Broadcast was born. But as Twilight Broadcast's parents gazed into their bright bluish brownish greenish eyes, they saw a band with no boundaries, a band that would never settle into a genre, a band that would be energetic, write intelligent lyrics, and put on a show that would force people to get up and dance. 'What would the world become…' they thought to themselves 'if we never knew what to expect from our favorite bands?' This thought was disturbing, brooding, and unacceptable. So without further thought, Twilight Broadcast's parents placed the band in an enormous basket, tossed on a poncho, and stumbled out the door into the same blackness that presently filled their hearts. As Twilight Broadcast's parents paraded through the pouring rain, they stumbled over loose gravel and slick grass until they finally arrived at a river. They bid the band farewell and floated them downstream, never to be heard from again.Twilight Broadcast was lucky though. The river was the Colorado River, and the current lovingly carried them to a little town called Austin, TX, where it lifted them tenderly onto its shore. Disheartened and lost, Twilight Broadcast cried a melodious song of heartbreak and abandonment. ...
