Ten Virgins
$6.19 To simply call this album the apotheosis of the shoegazing scene--that brief epoch of U.K. indie-rock in which bands turned away from melodic clarity and instead chased after the incendiary rapture of sheer guitar-driven noise--would be an understatement. LOVELESS is the sound of what might've happened if Brian Eno had produced DAYDREAM NATION. Or perhaps it's the thundering ambience of SISTER recorded backwards. Whatever the case, rarely has such a pristine, hypnotic record had such an ungodly amount of sonic tonnage. Opening with four quick beats from some kind of skeletal kick-drum and then proceeding through eleven gleaming movements of titanic ...

Ten Virgins
$13.49 While Australian rockers the Church are best known for their 1980s hits, like "Under the Milky Way," they've shown more staying power than most of their contemporaries. They maintained an active career through the decades, and 2009's UNTITLED #23 finds founding singer/bassist Steve Kilbey and guitarists Marty Willson-Piper and Peter Koppes still on board. The band's sound too has remained ...

| | Scott Stepakoff Red Light Turns Green CD (2006)
Ten Virgins
$15.19 Hey folks. My name is Scott Stepakoff and this is the bio that gets you excited to buy my CD, "RED LIGHT TURNS GREEN".I live in Nashville, TN with my wife Jody, my 2 dogs, Karma and Henry, and my 2 cats, Jake and Lucy. I grew up in Atlanta, GA. I moved to Nashville, TN in 2004 after spending 5 years in Los Angeles as the lead singer in a band called Turtle Grove. We were an improvisational, jam-oriented, southern influenced group ala Allman Brothers Band, Widespread Panic, but with songs more in the vein of the Wallflowers and Train. Actually, think about what would happen if you took Sheryl Crow, Counting Crows and the Black Crows and put them together. How's that? I grew up on Rock & Roll, but discovered Country shortly after moving from LA to Atlanta. I loved how lyric driven and honest the songs were and are. So I started looking for ways to improve my lryic writing, got into Country music and original songwriters like Darryl Scott, Steve Earle, John Hiatt. Got involved in NSAI down in Atlanta and started making trips to Nashville. Met Barbara Cloyd ("I Guess You Had To Be There") who invited me to participate in a play for publishers workshop that she was putting on. The more I came up to Nashville, the more I knew I had to be here. I'll never forget what my wife said to me after coming home from my last trip. I was telling her about all the people I met and how much they all seemed to really like my stuff. I was excited talking a mile a minute, and she cut me off by saying, "We're moving to Nashville aren't we?" Not long after being here, and playing out at writers nights, I met Chris Oglesby, a veteren song-plugger and publisher, who took an interest in what I was doing. Said he liked "the way I thought and wanted to help me develop. Chris and I have been working together ever since. He started his own company called Oglesby Writer Management and that is where I do my writing. I have had great opportunites and they seem to get better every day. Have written with some amazing writers and my writing keeps improving. I just finished a record of some of my own stuff, too. It's called "Red Light Turns Green". Thanks for checking in with me. Life is good.Peace,Scottbody {background-color: 032129;background-image: url(http://www.killerkiwi.net/files/myspace/templates/1007/background.gif);background-position: left top;background-repeat: repeat-x;}img {border: 0;}td, tr, div {background-color: transparent;border: 0;}table {background-color: transparent;border: 0;}table table {background-color: transparent;border: 0;}table table table {background-color: 2E4A52;border: 3px;border-style: double;border-color: 506C72;width: 450px;}table table table td {border: 0;width: auto;}table table table table {background-color: transparent;border: 0;width: auto;}body, div, span, td, p, .orangetext15, .whitetext12, .lightbluetext8, strong, b, u, .redtext, .redbtext, .btext, .text, .nametext, .blacktext10, .blacktext12 {font: normal 11px arial;color: B5CFD5;font-weight: normal;text-transform: none;text-decoration: none;}p {padding-left: 10px;margin: 10px 0;line-height: 1.4;}a, a:link, a:active, a:visited, a:hover, a.navbar:link, a.navbar:active, a.navbar:visited, a.navbar:hover, a.text:link, a.text:active, a.text:visited, a.text:hover, a.searchlinksmall:link, a.searchlinksmall:active, a.searchlinksmall:visited, a.searchlinksmall:hover, a.redlink:link, a.redlink:active, a.redlink:visited, a.redlink:hover {font: normal 11px arial;color: FFFFFF;text-decoration: underline;text-transform: none;}a:hover {color: FFFF66;}a.navbar:link, a.navbar:active, a.navbar:visited, a.navbar:hover, ...

Ten Virgins
$16.45 Dieter "bornzero" Bornschlegel winner of Best Soloperformance and Composer Award/Germany 2005 DEIN SCHATTEN is an avant-garde dark/wave/metal/NDH/rock band created by German musician DIETER BORNSCHLEGEL aka BornZero. DEIN SCHATTEN is a developmental project with German lyrics; it can be compared to the likes of RAMMSTEIN, JOACHIM WITT, VNV NATION, FUNKERVOGT, FALCO, andKEILERKOPF with fewer guitars and therefore more electronica. The smooth, captivating, yet hard hitting sounds are indicative of his determination to create a masterpiece with each and every note and lyric.Born in Dortmund, Germany, 1954, BornZero began at age seven playing the guitar and by the age of twelve escalated to playing in the band TRAUMTORTE. Bornzero also supported GOLDEN EARRING during a show at the Westfalenhalle, the largest concert hall in Germany. By 1972, Bornzero was playing with ATLANTIS, from Hamburg, who hasbeen considered one of Germany's greatest rock bands. BornZero has also performed tours and T.V. interviews throughout Europe, including English T.V., Grey Whistle Test. After ATLANTIS, BornZero played in the kraut rock band, GURU GURU, a kult band popular in Germany andJapan. That same year BornZero earned and was awarded the German pop polls title of "Best Guitar Player". In 1982 BornZero wrote the single "About You" for RAMESH WEERATUNGA, which subsequently became a number one hit in Sri Lanka and India. His influences are wide ranging, spanning many cultures and genres. BEATLES, TROGGS, SMALL FACES, KINKS,SIMON AND GARFUNKEL, BYRDS, BEE GEES, BEACH BOYS are but to name a few of the many. Even though Bornzero tours worldwide (there is a BornZero T-Shirt hanging in the Tokyo Tower Wax Museum) he manages to find time to create complex and in-depth compositions for many other artists. In the last 10 years, BornZero has been working solo and has produced all the sounds, lyrics and vocals of his CD's "Turbulence", released in 1998 BMG/ARIS) and today the brand new album entitled "Ewiges Eis" Bornzero uses many different pieces of equipment to create his works, but none so important as his iMac. Recording tracks, editing, mixing and sampling are but a few of the services that the 450Mhz machine has to offer. Applications such as "Vision Studio", "Audio Shop" and "T-Racks" are employed to accomplish this. Again, all of BornZero's works reflect a strong need to master the various sounds, instruments and equipment that he and his music have come to be known by.DISCOGRAPHYMore than 20 compilations and over 500 000 copies 2006-2004 Das Ewige Eis released 2004 by Irond Record-RussiaPropheten waiting of officiell releasedDEIN SCHATTEN - VEGALAND SAMPLER II (RELEASED 2003)DEIN SCHATTEN - EWIGES EIS (RELEASED 2003)DEIN SCHATTEN - WOANDERS ...

Since then she says it’s been like walking around in an old, comfortable pair of shoes – playing the piano and singing songs about ...
