| | Kehoe & Bayley Deeper CD - Import Kehoe & Bayley Discography of CDs
Deeper is written and produced by Kevin Kehoe and Rob-Ryan Bayley, with vocals by Sarah McGregor.Kevin is a Byron Bay, Australia based musician, arranger, producer and programmer. Rob-Ryan is a composer and music producer who flip-flops between Byron Bay and Zurich in Switzerland. We are a bit like chalk and cheese, but somehow when we write music together it is a happy and inspirational experience for both of us. We love film scores, and slowly are working on some longer more filmic sounding tracks. $14.85 Windham Hill's successful A Winter's Solstice series started during the label's first year in 1985, and has continued at roughly a new volume every two or three years, each installment containing a bright wintry blend of classical music, reimagined hymns, chiming carols, and atmospheric compositions that have since garnered the name new age. This two-disc set picks some of the best and brightest moments from the series' first eight volumes, including David Qualey's guitar arrangement of "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," Liz Story's piano rendition of "Greensleeves," harpist Lisa Lynne's "Northern Lights," and guitarist W.G. Snuffy Walden's sad, haunting "Moon Lake" on ...

$7.59 Miles weaves beautiful textures with synthesizers, creating layers of sound (piano, strings, ethereal atmospherics, the occasional diva vocal) around a throbbing beat. DREAMLAND is a womb of sonic imagery that transports the listener as it soothes, resulting in an aural experience unlike any other.
Italian pianist turned DJ Robert Miles scored a massive international hit with his wonderful, dreamy dance cut "Children" (one of the 1990s biggest and ...

Deeper
$15.19 I’m dropping one name on this Bio, Nate Allman. Who? He’s just a guy born in Texas, fortunate enough to have the kind of friends who’d think to buy him a guitar for his birthday. And as the story goes for the last decade it was that gift that has allowed the gift inside to be heard. And with that gift in full swing you could now say Nate is short for natural and Allman means broad appeal. Yes he’s played shows and produced records with so and so and at such and such, and yes like all the other singer songwriters out there his talent stands out far above the rest. But those credentials won’t tell you about Nate. I love him cause he’s one of the few people I know actually living his dream. And it’s just plain inspiring to watch someone drift through the corners chasing their dream at high speed, you just never know how things will turn out. For instance, when Nate followed his dream to write the songs of his heart he didn’t know that his best material would come from outside himself, from the broken lives of some of the people he’s met along the way, just taste the words of the new song “June” Her heart is cold her eyes are dry, all she wants to do is have to never go home cause it’s a struggle to keep him away and when he’s done she’s left with no hope for better days As her dreams get ripped away she longs to here someone say, You are mine, if I’m by your side I will comfort you and heal the wounds he’s left behind, and change your heart of stone to a heart of flesh and have your worth restored while hope is beating in your chest. As you can hear in the words to “June” Nate is bearing the brokenness of her song with hope. With hope! Help I’m drowning in the shallow end and need mouth to mouth HOPE! In a day when our airwaves and ipods are filled with cliché sentiment, and the songs of angry kids mad at theirs dads cause there was no new PSP under the Christmas tree, Nate brings out the songs our better selves long to sing. His first album, Loose Pockets features songs “From the Storm” and “Beautiful Mystery” that pose a thoughtful challenge. Dig a little deeper and Arans Song has the power to bring tears to even the casual listener. On both the Hwy40 sessions and the Africa EP you hear Nate mature in combining his convictions with his experiences and adventures. Many of which, come from the time he’s spent in Africa, where Nate lived with the contradictions of modern life, being witness to severe poverty, and the ravages of aids. Out of that experience Nate has joined with a handful of other young artists in our day who have made a commitment to do something about it. Through his organization, 540 records, Nate gives back from his work to various social justice organizations within South Africa. For Nate like every other musician, the dream is simple, writing songs, and playing shows. But what keeps those “sweet baby James” ...

$10.09 This is my solo album number 11. Hey, I go to eleven! (just like the amp volume knob in the movie "This Is Spinal Tap")! But seriously folks, there are times in one's life when you get to know someone who really believes in you... who accepts you for who you are... who understands most everything about you... and who loves good music. I am fortunate enough to know a person like that. She is one of my best friends, even though we have never met in person. She lives in Genova, Italy. The cover of the CD shows a photo of some marble portal-watchers in Genova that I took when I was there in June of 2006. I put this photo on the pickguard of my black Rogue ST-3 strat copy (see front left guitar on the inside cover photo).More stories about the songs: "I Can Believe" was inspired by my Italian friendship. The song "I'm Here" was originally written and recorded for the independent film "Blur" (http://www.blur-movie.com). All 3 versions here on this album were under consideration for use in the film, but none of these 3 were used afterall. However, another version was finally chosen. A version sung by my good friend and musical colleague Amy Meyers (see Amy's CDs here at cdbaby.) The Amy version is not included here, as it is currently intended for use only in the soundtrack of the movie. "All Of This Time" is an enigmatic exercise in pop music. "Book In The Pond" is a ...
