| Another Classic Once again Motorhead show why they are the Heavyweights of Metal with one of their heaviest albums ever. By a reviewer (Rockingham NC) This review is for a different format. |
| Born to raise hell!!!!!! This is a really good cd, if your a motorhead fan you better add this to your collection. By coeathra9000 (Pahrump, NV. USA) This review is for a different format. |
| BURNERRRRRRRR!!!! I bought this cd as a German import several years ago (Motorhead couldn't get it released anywhere else during the heyday of that icky "grunge" music). "Burner" is worth the price of admission alone. It's a real barnstomer that will melt your head. And who won't get up and march in place to "I am the Sword"? Talk about an anthemic song! And as for the rare Lemmy ballad, "Don't Let Daddy Kiss Me", will crush even the toughest of punks. "Born To Raise Hell" would go on to become a fist-pumpin' concert staple. "Lost in the Ozone" still brings chills to my skin unlike any other M-Head tune. This is the secret Motorhead album that only hardcore fans still pay high respects to. By Phil E.B. (Greensboro, NC, USA) This review is for a different format. |
| What a comeback! After a series of less than classic Motorhead releases, including the overtly commercial "March or Die", Motorhead comes slammin' back with their best release in over a decade. Everything that made Motorhead the legend it is can be found on this album. Rarely has the band sounded heavier or faster than they do on "Burner". With the exception of the somewhat misplaced "Don't Let Daddy Kiss Me", all the tracks are ready made Motorhead classics. If you don't have this album, you don't have Motorhead! | Motorhead still shut it down This and "1916" are their best albums from the '90s. After some mediocre, late '80s albums, they blast back strong.I still miss "Fast Eddie"s riffs from the '70s and early '80s..... By ianovar (wilmington, de) This review is for a different format. |
