Imitation Of Life Two Movie Special Edition Video Imitation Of Life Two Movie Special Edition Movie Review BLACK 101 This is the best movie EVER!! I love the two movies..I do think however that the Lanna Turner Version is best. This movie was a must for all black children when I was growing up..and I still love it to this very day. Classic I remember viewing the version of the movie with Lana Turner when I was a girl. I remember how my mom cried when Mahalia Jackson began to sing the "Troubles of the world."
The idea of a black person passing for white back in the day has always fascinated me. It is an idea that could still hold true even today.
It was also good to see a yound Sandra Dee, I had forgotten she played the daughter.

Totally Capturing Although somewhat dated - but still valid for many reasons - this is one picture you will never forget.
Your emotions will be set on a rollercoaster ride.

$9.69 The grisly and debauched film PATHOLOGY is a juiced-up medical thriller that plays like FLATLINERS with a mean streak and a broken moral compass. Writers Mark Nelvedine and Brian Taylor have created a premise allowing for CSI-like forensics along with heaps of sex and violence, truly making the most of the film's R-rating. A high-end exploitation film with good performances, PATHOLOGY is strong enough for horror fans and should go down smoothly for non-squeamish viewers with a taste for the dark side.
Gifted med student Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia, HEROES) arrives at a major Washington, D.C., as an intern, where he is met with suspicion and resentment by the tightly knit group of fellow young pathologists-in-training. Soon, though, Ted is accepted into their circle---where they each take turns committing a murder so that the others may prove their mettle by figuring out the cause of death and celebrate with drug-fueled orgies among the dead bodies in the hospital. Things change for Ted, though, when his law student fiancée, Gwen (Alyssa Milano), moves to the city and helps to scare him straight. Soon, crazed Wallace Stevens-quoting leader Jake Gallo (Michael Weston) turns on Ted, putting both Ted's and Gwen's lives in serious jeopardy. The film opens with the Hippocratic ...

Imitation Of Life Two Movie Special Edition review
$13.55 Marcel Langenegger makes his feature-film directorial debut with the aptly titled DECEPTION, a film about secrets and lies. Jonathan McQuarry (Ewan McGregor) feels that life is passing him by. He completes short-term audits for a large firm, but doesn't really feel any connection to his employer and finds it difficult to make friends at his assignments since he's never there for long. Jonathan's circumstances change overnight when charming lawyer Wyatt Bose (Hugh Jackman) befriends him. In an instant, the shy accountant is playing doubles tennis with his new friend and beautiful women and visiting upscale clubs. Just as mild-mannered Jonathan is getting used to his new lifestyle, Wyatt leaves town on business. When Jonathan finds himself mistakenly in possession of Wyatt's cell phone, he also discovers a whole new world of anonymous sex in elite Manhattan hotels with powerful women known simply as "The List." But soon Jonathan ...

$16.29 America's sweetheart in every way, Bettie Page became an icon of the 1950s, winning hearts with a sweet smile and girl-next-door demeanor, which could quickly morph into that of a vixen in bondage, or a playful, naughty kitten. She was discovered in New York City after a difficult but triumphant childhood in Nashville, Tennessee, by an amateur photographer for whom she agreed to pose. Bettie went on to become the nation's most beloved pin-up model, achieving her greatest renown ...

$19.49 With its gleeful hash of the sacred and the profane, THE TEN is a hilarious comedy that takes liberties with the Bible's Ten Commandments. After the cult success of WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER and THE STATE, David Wain and Ken Marino reteam with a few familiar faces--as well as some new additions--to poke fun at the Old Testament tenets with 10 stories. Jeff Reigert (Paul Rudd, KNOCKED UP) introduces these 10 chapters, as he also confronts his own issues with adultery. He has the difficult task of choosing between his wife played by Famke Janssen (X-MEN: THE LAST STAND) and his mistress played by Jessica Alba (FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER). Meanwhile, each of the stories tackles the Bible's rules from Thou shalt not have no other gods before me to Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, with equal parts wit and weirdness.
From the buttoned-up librarian (Gretchen Mol, THE NOTORIOUS BETTIE PAGE) who falls for a Mexican carpenter named Jesus to a doctor (Marino, DIGGERS) who sees his murder of a patient as a joke, these aren't the Sunday school takes on the Biblical rules. Instead, Wain, Marino, and their star-studded cast treat the normally serious topics such as murder and adultery with their irreverent and politically incorrect brand of humor. .Just like WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER ...
