After ten years as the lead singer and songwriter for iconic Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace this is Raine Maida’s first solo album.
THE HUNTERS LULLABY is the first solo album from the lead singer and chief songwriter of the Canadian alternative band Our Lady Peace. That band's sound has progressed and shifted much since their conception in 1992, but on his own, Maida branches out even further, piling on the piano and other instruments, developing his "speak-sing" style, and generally upping the sonic variety. On "Confessional," he experiments with multiple voices. On the satirical "The Less I Know" and "One Second Chance," Maida even tries his hand at rap.
