| Best of 2pac As any true 2pac fan should know this is a fantastic CD! It takes me back in time!!! A great buy. By s_crays (Ocilla, GA) This review is for a different format. |
| 2nd rate 2pac (reproduced greatest hits) Best of 2Pac, Pt. 1: Thug album for sale This Cd has two parts "Thug" and "Life" so why didnt they make thug have all the hardcore tracks showing his thug side and life having tracks like dear mama & unconditional love, I thought thats how they would do it, I'm sure thats how pac would have wanted it but who knows (RIP!), anyway, I thought it was tight that theres a couple new tracks (Last tracks on both CD's) but they re-used alot of the songs off his classic Greatest Hits album (which I thought was much better) so if your a Pac fan & wanna complete your collection cop-it but if you dont have the money get the Greatest Hits instead or burn it since its very easy to find all these tracks! Dont get me wrong this is a 5 star album but I give it 2 for the simple fact that its lacking new material and resembles the greatest hits CD too much.2Pac for life! RIP Pac & Easy! WESTCOAST Mo-F*****! By Benjammin (Miami, FL, USA) This review is for a different format. |

Best of 2Pac, Pt. 1: Thug buy CD music PART 2 of this 2Pac greatest-hits collection, which was assembled in coordination with Pac's mother, Afeni Shakur, combines some of the iconic rapper's earliest solo material ("Brenda's Got a Baby") with his best-known hits ("Keep Your Head Up") and a healthy dose of posthumously released cuts ("Ghetto Gospel," "Never Call U Bitch Again," "Still Ballin'"). LIFE also features the original solo version of "Thugz Mansion," as well as the previously unreleased track "Dopefiend's Diner," which finds Pac's flow mimicking the Suzanne Vega favorite "Tom's Diner."

Jay-Z American Gangster CD (2007)
Best of 2Pac, Pt. 1: Thug songs Following up his crossover-ridden return from retirement KINGDOM COME, Jay-Z presents a concept album, AMERICAN GANGSTER, inspired by the Ridley Scott movie of the same name. Contentwise, Jay is in his element, spinning street corner imagery and tales of the drug trade in the same spirit as the film, while, on the production end, 1970s R&B and soul samples dominate. The production team of Diddy, LV, and Sean C accounts for much of the record's cohesion, providing six beats built on loops from the likes of Marvin Gaye, Barry White, and Rudy Love & the Love Family.
Jigga finds plenty room to get jiggy on tracks like "Roc Boys (And the Winner Is)," "Party Life," and "I Know," a Neptunes-produced gem that sounds like a tricked-out "It Ain't Hard to Tell." Undoubtedly Jay's tightest effort since 2001's THE BLUEPRINT, AMERICAN GANGSTER features a few choice guest verses from Lil Wayne, Beanie Siegel, and Nas.
