The entire Tank catalogue is included here and 24bit remastered no less. These are excellent remasters as the spit-polished sound renders my previous copies of "Filth Hounds of Hades" (Repertoire) and "Still at War" pretty much obsolete. Algy Ward and his fellow brothers in arms are showcase the weaponry here from their Motorhead-like beginnings to their most recent outing "Still at War" (which now features the nuclear warhead that is "C-ing Dub-All" and it is BEYOND me why Tank left this off of the original album). Extra tracks, casualties really, are unearthed here all over the place and the accompanying booklet is a virtual goldmine, er landmine, of archived photos, lyrics, and detailed history. This box set is limited to a mere 1000 copies worldwide so if you have an inclination of picking this up, I would do it now before it disappears forever. Tank rocks, always did and still does and I am most pleased to hear that they still intend on releasing "Sturmpanzer"...which should be a bulldozing affair sure to crush the competition under a camoflauged avalanche of killer riffs and napalm rhythms. Cheers to the mighty Algy...right there with Lemmy as Britain's "coolest" export.

 Still at War
Just when their catalogue was getting super hard to find, Metal Mind Records in Poland puts out a sweet boxset of the whole shooting match. This boxset literally includes EVERYTHING the band has ever done, all digitally remastered. All the studio albums, live albums and bootlegs, all the singles, b-sides and promos. So much stuff that some of the singles and b-sides get a little redundant, but it's just the sheer volume of material here. For instance, including bonus tracks, this version of Filth Hounds of Hades alone now has 18 songs! There's even a DVD of bootleg quality video footage from the early eighties and some tracks from the Wacken show in the late nineties. Very rare glimpses of a NWOBHM legend. Metal Mind did an incredible job of the packaging with a 60 page booklet included too. All of the cd's spines line up to make the Tank logo and they used all of the original European covers for the studio albums - a treat for North American fans like me. Another pleasant surprise I got when it arrived was to find it hand numbered out of 1000 copies! I couldn't be happier with this.
