Titled "Pure Pop for Now People" in the states, don't know why other than Jesus must be considered cooler than Nick. Maybe, but this album was and is a iconic pop album. Breaking Glass was the hit but there are so many sardonic tales covered by a pop sheen you will just have to delve into this feast for yourself. Be warned, Marie Provost is not what's for dinner and 36 inches high is an off kilter tongue in cheek pop masterpiece. Not a bad song on this CD. But some are better than others. Check out Rockpile if you want some more Nick but understand Dave Edmunds dominates the Rockpile offerings (not a bad thing).
