| Artistic highpoint
To me The Joshua Tree represent the artistic high point of U2's carreer. Some of the later albums are excellent, well produced and with a lot of experimentation.

| Emotional Masterpiece!
I don't really care what other reviewers have to say against this album. When it came out in 1987, I was going through a personal tragedy.

| A masterpeice
This album was probably U2's best work. Although Achtung Baby comes pretty close for me. "Where the streets have no name" and 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for" are (for me anyway) tracks about man's constant and never ending search for a relationship with God.

| A bit expensive but worth it any way
You really get three separate products here, all in a beautful and well-designed package. I am not a technical expert or engineer, so I don't know what "re-mastered" means - but I did a simultaneous side by side test by playing the re-mastered disc in my CD/DVD player, and the original disc that is now 20 1/2 yeare old in the six CD changer in my Bose wave home theater player.
