Razor's Edge album Product Description
Razor's Edge album by AC / DC was released Oct 07, 2003 on the Epic label. AC/DC had been nearly written off as a shadow of its former pulverizing self at the start of the '90s. Razor's Edge CD music It seemed, sadly, that the band's best hard rock years were behind them and a younger, more able-bodied generation of rockers would be needed to carry the torch. Out of nowhere, then, came THE RAZOR'S EDGE, an album of startling potency. Razor's Edge music CDs Not only was the firepower back in terms of gripping riffs, but the band was able to summon the focus to lay out its most memorable collection of songs in years. Razor's Edge songs With "Thunderstruck" alone, the band shakes off complacency with one mighty swipe. Razor's Edge album It's an instant AC/DC classic, scouring the familiar terrain of piercing guitar lines, and a locked in rhythm section. The band also scored a direct hit with "Moneytalks," a pop-hook-with-a-wallop single that nearly matches the band's 1980's radio staple, "You Shook Me All Night Long." Originally released as ATCO (91413). Includes liner notes by Alan Di Perna. AC/DC: Brian Johnson (vocals); Angus Young, Malcolm Young (guitar); Cliff Williams (bass); Chris Slade (drums). Entertainment Weekly (1/25/91) - A "Last year's one really great hard-rock record, loud enough to splinter eardrums and utterly unapologetic about what aficionados will recognize as inspired, both as an assault on the basics and an affirmation of them."

| Give them credit... I think it's great that they still bothered making music at there age and into the 90's, but other than thunderstruck, this album is one of my least favorites... I wouldn't recomend it if you are a big AC/DC fan, one of their worst. By acdcfreak (camp hill USA) This review is for a different format. |
| THE RAZOR EDGE THIS IS TYPICAL AC/DC MUSIC. THE CUTS ON THE TAPE ARE GREAT. By AJOHNS83 (DECATU,AL,USA) This review is for a different format. |
| average at best now ac dc being my all time favorite band im not gonna say anything too bad about any of their albums. i know razor's edge was their big sucessful comeback, commercial wise compared to the previous few albums that came before. but to me except for the first 3 tracks thunderstruck, fire your guns and money talks which are great. the rest of the album is nothing special. there is a few other ones that are ok like are you ready and got you by the balls ,but theres also a few i consider some of their weakest material, like if you dare, and lets make it and shot of love. the latter two tracks have too much of a pop sound to them for my liking. not a bad cd but not great either. so if im being honest and because of some of the weaker tracks on here i cant give it more then 3 stars. | Great "Motivational" Album I bought this cd just before we left for the Persian Gulf back in '90. Thunderstruck, Fire Your Guns, and The Razor's Edge fit the Missouri PERFECTLY. This cd would be blaring EVERYTIME we went to battlestations from our berthing compartment. What more could you ask for? By davsmith357 (SoTex) This review is for a different format. |
