| | Duncan Band Guy Lesbian Karaoke Night CD Duncan Band Guy Discography of CDs
Lesbian Karaoke Night – 10 Songs you always wanted to hear but nobody played. Our objective was to make you laugh and we think we succeeded. With “Lesbian Karaoke Night” the Duncan Guy Band finally came out of the closet. Going public with songs about Drinking and Driving, Tennessee Incest, Hookers and how Hookers feel about being treated like Hookers. All in their unique FUNTRY style, a unique blend of the David Allan Coe, Ray Stevens country sound with the off the wall humor of Monty Python and Second City. Jeff Foxworthy to music? Maybe; a bit like Adam Sandler, maybe not; Kid Rock would be pushing it. Novelty Songs? We don’t think so, the songs are novel but the subject matter isn’t. Everybody knows somebody who’s lovin’ their cousin.Parody Songs? Definitely not. All of the music and words are original. You have never heard anything like this before.Comedy Songs? Some working women have found them funny…Funtry? That’s what it is. A unique blend of Country and Fun all for you personal enjoyment.“Lesbian Karaoke Night” presents you with a number of very serious questions:· Do Lesbians really sing Karaoke? Should they?· Does “Drunk Go Drivin’” condone or condemn drinking and driving?· Where besides Tennessee do first cousins mate?· Do men really do that when they travel?· Why don’t men want long term relationships with hookers?· Why don’t hookers understand why men don’t want long term relationships with them· There are no really bad words in this album so why don’t I feel comfortable playing it for my mother? Lesbian Karaoke Night album
$5.25 Christmas music releases have become a country music tradition, but the result is often generic mushy background instrumentation on the same moldy standards. Guilty of this is Vince Gill, whose Let There Be Peace on Earth is as cliche-ridden as they come. ~ Roch Parisien

Lesbian Karaoke Night songs
$9.25 A classic modern country album, THE TRIO is as pretty as music gets. The ethereal harmony vocals of three of popular music's sweetest swingers, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt, would be enough--their harmonies couldn't have been closer if they were triplets. But THE TRIO offers something more, gathering songs that not only utilize their natural singing talents but also bring out the emotional timbre of their collective voice.

| | Christmas With The New Christy Minstrels: Complete! CD (2001)
Lesbian Karaoke Night album
$14.35 Christmas With the New Christy Minstrels: Complete! offers not one, but two albums by the group of the same name. Interestingly, because of a number of personnel changes, none of the members present for Merry Christmas! in 1963 remained with the group in 1966 when Christmas With the Christies was recorded. While the group has been eclipsed by Peter, Paul, and Mary over time, the New Christy Minstrels' star shone as bright as any folk group in the mid-'60s. The group carved out a unique choral sound, achieved with the help of nine members. When the Christies combined complex arrangements ...

| | John Floridis December's Quiet Joy CD (2006)
Lesbian Karaoke Night CD music
$18.99 “John was very inspiring! He plays so well.”-Shawn Colvin, Sony Recording Artist, Grammy Award Winner“John's music dances on the very tip of a needle stuck solidly between subtlety and power, and the beauty of his vantage point is in his ability to lean toward one side or the other at a finger snap"-Kelly Joe Phelps, Rykodisc Recording Artist“First and foremost I am a musician. I love the sound of an acoustic guitar in it’s most naked form, but I also love the sound of it plugged in and feeding back. I want to captivate people with all the components of my music- the vocals, the words and the pure manipulation of sound.” - J.F.John began playing guitar at ten years of age and hasn’t looked back since. Studies in classical guitar provided some formal training, but primarily he has developed his own style forged from years of sampling and performing all kinds of music-jazz-rock fusion, rhythm and blues/motown, original pop-rock and others. He turned his attention to the acoustic guitar and developing his own songs and compositions in 1993 after moving to Missoula, Montana. Blending an aggressive and percussive accompaniment with adventurous melodic playing, he combines instrumental pieces with vocal tunes featuring his strong, blues inflected singing. Lyrically, his songs are often “slice of life” stories; some autobiographical, some slightly less than fictitious, some free-associations from the sub-conscious.A registered music therapist from Cleveland, Ohio, John has released four solo albums- “This Year” in 1996, “Part of the Picture” in 1998, “The Dance of Apollo”, a compilation/collection of his instrumental guitar solos in 2001, and his brand new recording “In This Place,” his first home recorded CD featuring seven original songs and four unique covers of artists ranging from Robert Johnson to Lyle Lovett. Johnis also co-producer of “Musician’s Spotlight” for Montana Public Radio. Support Performances With: Shawn Colvin (solo), Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt-Bruce Hornsby-Shawn Colvin-Jackson Browne (combined tour), John Mayall, Richard Thompson, Kelly Joe Phelps, Patty Larkin, Leon Russell, Patty Griffin, ...
| | Kawabata News CD (2007)
Lesbian Karaoke Night music CDs
$13.15 It was cello-player Kumi Kondo who asked Simonis to write a ‘multiphonic’ (cello & voice) piece for her final exams for the Rotterdam Conservatory in 2004. The lyrics of this song –Iyashi- were written by the Japanese Poet Takayuki Kawabata and having discovered his work like this, Simonis suggested to do a bigger project together. Out this came ‘NEWS’ which consists of the songcycle with the same name (the first 5 songs on the cd) and 3 other Kawabata (inspired) songs.Simonis wrote some music and made some ‘route descriptions’ for the band that consisted of two cello’s, a guitar & voice. After the recordings ,that thus involved a large part of improvisation, Simonis took his time, editing and mixing the material, almost like re(de?)composing the stuff. So what we have here, is -not unlike Simonis’ last CD ‘Stots’- a project that is in a way about the misunderstanding ...
