Melissa Reaves' well-received new release, Rough Cuts, appeared on the music scene in late May 2004. Recorded in just two days at The Loft in Bronxville, New York, the album is a melodic departure from Melissa's trademark high-octane rock n' blues. Hailing from Boone, North Carolina, Melissa's music has southern charm, but she's no belle. This steel magnolia has well over a decade of songwriting experience and has created a sizable international following with her experimental guitar work, biting lyrics, powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence.
