"Fall is falling! Fall is barely upon us, but we can't wait for it." they said. This unconventional guys of "The Quest" have always been controversial. Driven by distorted guitars and modern synthesizers they created several tracks. The production of the band’s album FALL actually took place at the best possible moment in summer 2007 'cause the atmosphere during the recordings was simply perfect. This incredible album filled with great instrumental tracks will stay in your CD player for months. | | U2 No Line On The Horizon CD (2009)
Fall songs
$10.49 There's no shortage of legendary producers in line to work with music world titans U2; when work with Rick Rubin broke off, Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois stepped in. The resulting NO LINE ON THE HORIZON, 2009's offering from the Irish rockers, continues in the grand U2 tradition, as soaring pop anthems like opening single "Get on Your Boots" pair with experimental melanges like "Tripoli," on a striking album featuring touches of all the albums come before, yet hinting at new worlds for Bono to conquer.
After spending the 1990s experimenting with electronic music and returning to arena-ready rock during the first few years of the 21st century, U2 stakes out territory somewhere between those two points on 2009's NO LINE ON THE HORIZON. Enlisting its go-to production trio of Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, and Steve Lillywhite, the Irish quartet seems intent on crafting a quirkier companion piece to HOW TO DISMANTLE AN ATOMIC BOMB, and they succeed with restless tracks such as "Get on Your Boots," which sounds like "Vertigo" hijacked by T. Rex, and "Stand Up Comedy," a wiry number that lets the Edge cut loose with barbed guitar lines. Some of most striking songs on HORIZON are the ones that venture farthest from U2's comfort zone, as on the surprisingly weighty title track, a tune that counterbalances its nearly industrial heft with a high-pitched keyboard melody, and, of course, Bono's soaring vocals. Although HORIZON is willfully less accessible than BOMB or ALL THAT YOU CAN'T LEAVE BEHIND, it's no return to ZOOROPA-level obtuseness either, meaning that U2 fans will find plenty to admire here even if it doesn't hit them with the immediacy of the group's signature anthems.

Fall CD music
$10.15 "All The Rage" is the debut release from LA-based singer/songwriter Cary Brothers. These four songs, produced by Chad Fischer (Alexi Murdoch), run the gamut from power pop ("Supposed To Be") to acoustic folk ("Honestly"), but they all share one thing in common - as Cary says, "They're all pretty much straight from the heart, whether it's being broken or put back together."Cary's song "Blue Eyes" is also featured alongside tracks from Coldplay, The Shins, and Simon & Garfunkel on the soundtrack of the Fox Searchlight film GARDEN STATE, starring Zach Braff, Natalie Portman, and Peter Sarsgaard. Two years ago, Cary was spotted playing at an open mic by acclaimed LA troubadour Gary Jules, who subsequently began booking Cary at the famed Hotel Café in Hollywood, where Cary has become a regular among a group of some of LA's best up and coming talent. In addition the the national exposure from the GARDEN STATE soundtrack, Brothers has performed on the CBS "Late, Late Show" and NBC's "Scrubs," and "Blue Eyes" was recently named one of Top Ten Folk Songs of 2004 by the iTunes Music Store.PRESS/REVIEWS:"Alongside artists like Pete Yorn, (Brothers is) one of the emerging acoustic talents in Los Angeles... If he'd been old enough in the late 60's, the singer/songwriter probably would've grabbed a few rounds with a young David Crosby or shared a smoke with Joni Mitchell after an appearance together at a local coffeehouse..." - Billboard"A love cycle in four songs, covering everything from falling madly to realizing it's gone... The album just might become the new soundtrack to your life." - Daily Candy "Brothers is a thinking man's singer/songwriter like Elliott Smith, but at times flashes a melodic brilliance along the lines of Glen Phillips or Adam Duritz. "Supposed to Be" has almost an '80s pop vibe, but the rest of the tracks, in particular "Blue Eyes," are acoustic-driven and simply amazing." - Bullzeye "Cary Brothers delivers dreamy alternative rock... 4.5 stars (out of 5)" - DiscoveringArtists.com"It's only a matter of time before every blue-eyed woman in America is told by a man that Cary Brothers' song "Blue Eyes" reminds him of her." - Centre Daily TimesABOUT THE ARTIST:Cary Brothers grew up Nashville, TN, raised on a good mix of 70's FM rock (Zeppelin, Foreigner) and 80's British alternative (The Psychedelic Furs, The Cure, and The Stone Roses in particular). He picked up a guitar at thirteen and learned the entire early R.E.M. catalogue in a matter of weeks. His first band, "The Sorry Bastards," played exactly one show before disbanding over "creative differences" and, well, college. It was then at Northwestern University in the Chicago suburbs where he founded the band "Ted Passing Out," a frequently inebriated outfit whose live shows featured a motley blend of Velvet Underground/ Allman Bros. covers as well as some poppy original songs for frat kids who were competing with the band for the title of "most drunk." TPO released the now-treasured "my friend gary" EP, a fair attempt at recorded music, which has sold for as much as an astonishing two dollars on ebay and the black market. After a semi-terrifying pyrotechnic accident involving bottle rockets and a jug of pure grain alcohol, the band broke up, citing "creative differences." In Los Angeles, our fair traveler co-founded the band "The Dolores Haze" with old friend Rachel Robinson. Fairly prolific over a short period of time, the "Haze" (as lazy people called them) played some nice big shows across the city and recorded the tunes "The Wave" and "Love Song" with producer Chad Fischer. Yet, once again, a mixture of "creative differences" and (this time) inanimate rubber objects left Cary without a band. A broken man, ...
