"Just Passing Through" is the latest release from guitarist, singer and songwriter Mike Hutchens. Mike has had a very interesting and varied career including being a founding member of Jazz-Rock group "Montage" along with bassist ALLEN WOODY (Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule) and keyboard player TONY CROW (Lambchop,Silver Jews), later adding drummer John Moss(Barefoot Jerry); Playing lead guitar for ex-Kiss drummer PETER CRISS'S band The ALLIANCE where he shared the stage with artist's including Ratt, Eddie Money, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Greg Allman Band and Alcatraz (featuring Yngwie Malmsteen). Mike has also played for many other artists including slide guitar master Mac Gayden, Austin legend the fabulous Toni Price, 60's popsters The Vogues, vocalist Michael Paris, Spice Davis (Shalimar), experimental rock group "The Neon Bushman" and many others. The CD "just Passing Through" draws from many influences to create something highly engaging. Great guitar work and soulful vocals are present throughout this highly creative offering. Larry was raised in a musical household and as far back as he can remember great music was always playing on his family's Hi-Fi.On any given day he'd hear the sounds of The Nat Cole Trio, Charlie Christian (Benny Goodman Quintet), Illinois Jacquet, Wes Montgomery or Allen Touissaint.
