"...sounds like a buzz saw nasally cutting through burly logs made of western legends. The quartet of twanking countrified rednecks delivers a covered wagon full of originals that so perfectly fit the AM radio western music idiom you'd swear you've heard them before." Glen Starkey (San Luis Obispo New Times)What we wrote for our promo sheet...Red Eye Junction drifts along the path of traditional Country and Western music and takes it a step further. Like their heroes Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, and Johnny Cash, REJ present a classic yet surprisingly fresh take on hard hittin’ American country music. REJ hits the stage with the swagger of the great outlaw country artist and the professionalism of their contemporary counter parts. Their original numbers sound like they would fit right in on your favorite Country Gold radio stations play list. REJ has respect for the guys who wrote the book and broke the mold of the watered down Nashville style. Make it a point to get on board next time they hit your town. Be sure to bring plenty a fightin’ words, whiskey money, and your cheatin’ heart… Outlaws & Heroes Music | Category | Country Albums | | Label | CD Baby | | CD Universe Part number | 7579326 | | Catalog number | 158141 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Oct 23, 2007 |

Outlaws & Heroes
$30.54 1951 was a breakthrough year for Hank Williams. He had a string of moderate country hits already under his belt, but the release that year of his version of an old jazz age novelty tune called "Lovesick Blues" suddenly made him a big star. It also meant his touring schedule increased, but he still found time that ...

Outlaws & Heroes
$11.69 The marketing department at Warner Brothers must have really wanted to get a jump on the holiday season when they released Faith Hill's 2008 Christmas album, JOY TO THE WORLD, in September. Hill's set of carols and traditional songs may not suit the late summer, but that doesn't make JOY TO THE WORLD any less of a treat. As albums like BREATHE and FIREFLIES proved, Hill has no problem crossing over to mainstream audiences, and this Christmas set (the singer's first) should strengthen that appeal. If the song selection itself isn't surprising--including the usual fare like "What ...

| | Sandy Hosey Mama Be Back She's Gone Country CD (2007)
Outlaws & Heroes
$18.99 An unusual talent and personality best describes the gift and life of Sandy Hosey. As a world traveler, Sandy has a special God-given gift to communicate effectively to audiences of varied ethnic backgrounds. Her purpose in life is to bring unity and hope to people of all races and backgrounds. Her dynamic voice and stage presence will invite you to enter into her song with her. As a young girl growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, Sandy’s unique singing talent was recognized by a local radio disc jockey, A.C. "Moohaw" Williams. She soon became a member of the famous “Teen-Town Singers,” a part of W.D.I.A., the first Black-Staffed Radio station in the country heard across eight states. That group produced many top named singing artists, entertainers, circuit court judges, lawyers, professors, state representatives, business owners, etc. While a sociology student at Le-Moyne-Owen College, the door opened for Sandy to travel worldwide with the “Holiday Inn Messengers,” a good-will ambassador singing group sponsored by the International chain of Holiday Inns. The Messengers were a closely knitted group whose tight, driving sound combined the best of pop, top-40, blues, country, patriotic and gospel tunes. Their performances were in a new dimension and their sound was in tune with only one audience...The Brotherhood of Mankind. While in this group, she sang for benefits with people such as Bob Hope and Danny Thomas at the St. Jude Shower of Stars, as well as opened State Fair Shows with Kenny Rogers, Johnny and June Cash, Mac Davis and other celebrities. While a part of the Messengers, she performed at county and state fairs such as the Ozark Empire, Missouri State Fair, Mid-South Fair, DuQuoin Fair, Texas State Fair and the Florida State Fair. She also performed at Knotts Berry Farm in 1974 as well as the Mid-South Sport, Boat, Travel and Vacation Show. As a part of the group she made many appearances at Callaway Gardens, Georgia and the San Diego Zoo. Other engagements found Sandy singing for Senator John Glenn’s Inaugural Ball soon after they had performed for the seven original Astronauts' first reunion, on the Mike Douglas TV Show in 1974 along with guest Pat Boone and family, before 1.5 million people in Mexico City as well as on two nationwide telecast in that country, for the National Governor’s Convention, and throughout Europe and Asia entertaining American soldiers for the U.S. Department of Defense. All of these experiences helped prepare Sandy for what God has called her to today and that is to sing from her heart to yours. Singing country music is now an evolution of what is in her heart to bridge the gap that exist between the two gospels and that of country ...
