Facing The Giants Movie Review  An Excellent Movie!
This was an excellent movie with an excellent story line. The bottom line is that with God we can do anything!! This movie got that point across extremely well. When you trust God for everything, you can't go wrong. Just remember to praise Him no matter what - through the good and the bad.

 An good idea for a movie done in a not so good way
Ok the acting in this movie was subpar but i understand that the "actors" were actually kids from a team/school and not professional actors.. in that way its understandable.
pretty straight foward: If you are a christian, you will probably love the movie.
IF you are not christian, the religious message is so IN YOUR FACE(its straight up preaches, not just sharing a message)that it might turn you off to the movie instead of giving it a chance.
There were some suprisingly powerful/good parts that were moving/inspiring (and surprisingly these were the ones with an undertone and religion and not-in-your-face preaching) but then the rest of the movie was incredibly corny and predictable ( i had the whole movie planned out in my head before watching it...going on cliches of sports related and religious movies..and i was about 99% right) which just put a big damper on the movie's message and the movie in general

Praise GOD!
I don't know how this movie made it to the big screen. This movie is clearly not about the world (murder, theft, lust, greed,). This movie is about Praising GOD and being humble to our creator no-matter what our situation is. Win or Lose we praise GOD. Five stars is not enough to rate this movie I give it a 10.

This movie exceeded all my expectaions. It was excellent and I look forward to purchasing it. Anyone can enjoy this movie. It was nice to be able to see a movie that the entire family could enjoy, that was not a cartoon. I did not have to worry about inappropriate language, crudeness. I wish there were more movies like this one.

Captain Beyond's second album must have confused the diehards. Where their self-titled debut had upheld the basic progressive heavy rock blueprint of lengthy instrumental explorations, constant tempo changes, and opaque, yet cinematic lyrics, Sufficiently Breathless downplays them for a subtler, song-oriented production. The predominant mood is snappy and businesslike; no track runs over five and a half minutes. This newfound conciseness certainly benefited such heavy-rocking efforts as "Distant Sun," even as the band stuck to their diverse guns on the moody, acoustic title track and the sleek Latin funk rock of "Bright Blue Eyes" and "Everything's a Circle." The results were intelligent and self-assured, yet the band's never-ending bad luck again intervened when vocalist Rod Evans quit in late 1973, leaving the album adrift. The band would proffer a markedly different style on their return four years later, but anyone dismissing progressive heavy rock as an oxymoron should definitely check out this album first. ~ Ralph Heibutzki
